Dashing von Stride has one thing on his mind: winning the window display contest for the Miracle on Main Christmas Contest. His plans are set and ready—and then he walks into his toy store, Reindeer Games, to find a sleigh that shouldn’t be there. The mystery sleigh sparks a new plan, however, and now all Dash needs is the perfect Santa to model his display after.

This year, the pranks with his reindeer have gotten out of hand. Instead of preparing for the Big Day, Niklaus Kringle is hunting for his missing sleigh. Locating it should have been easy, but games easily won are seldom worth playing…

When someone breaks into Dashing von Stride’s toy store, Reindeer Games, and leaves behind a gorgeous sleigh, Dash is sure this is the answer to him being able to win this year’s window display contest for the Miracle on Main Christmas Contest. When he sees gorgeous Niklaus Kringle he knows exactly who he’s going to model his “Santa” after. What he doesn’t know is Nik is going to blow his mind and his world up with his revelations about the town, Dash’s history and Dash himself.

This is a cute holiday tale infused with magic, bonded mates, elves and pranking reindeer. It also brings some sexy times to the party, which were much appreciated by yours truly.

In fact, I enjoyed most of the story in a “can’t put it down” sort of way. The love story aspect between Nik and Dash was sexily sweet and melted my heart. It had me right up until the very end where I was left hanging on some plotlines. I literally checked to make sure I wasn’t missing a chapter or two. The end felt rushed and my curiosity about what happened to all the Von Stride’s, Dash’s immediate family in particular (especially his mother), and the whole dark magic aspect was not appeased.

I enjoyed the writing, the humor and the romance…but man, I so want to know what happened to the Von Stride’s and Icy!
