What do you get the Dom who has everything? Jason solves the problem by treating his master, Adrian, to a night in The Hideaway–a boutique guesthouse offering ‘bed, breakfast and bondage’. In The Hideaway’s en suite dungeon, they play out a fantasy in which ‘Santa’ Adrian decides whether Jason has been naughty or nice, and punishes him accordingly, making it a Christmas Eve neither of them will forget.

This was a sweet short story of an already established D/s couple. Their dynamic seems to Master/slave but because they are both so busy with their work, they are unable to live the 24/7 Dom/slave lifestyle they both would prefer.

Slave Jason has given his Master Adrian a 24 hour get-away at a dungeon hotel. There they will have an uninterrupted day to play. Adrain takes Jason to task for keeping him in the dark about the gift and punishes him, to Jason’s utter delight.

This was far too short to learn much about the couple, but it is quite obvious they are deeply in love and that went a long way in making their scene more enjoyable for me, as I always prefer reading BDSM with strong emotions attached.

Because this story was so short and we didn’t learn a lot about these men, I give the book 3 stars for a nice, quick D/s display. No angst, just love and good sex. But I bumped the rating up to 3.5 because of the promise of more from these two men. At the end of the book there is a blurb for their next adventure, a Valentine’s trip back to their dungeon hideaway. I eagerly await that chapter for more loving power exchanges between this emotionally bounded couple.

Recommended.
