Will Nash find love again? Of course he will. Will he go about it in the usual manner? Now that’s another story entirely.
Jilted by his fiancé two weeks before their wedding, Nash Marino’s outlook on life in general, and love in particular, is jaded. After months of couch-surfing, Nash is fed up. He’s sick and tired of his living conditions, worn out by the demands of his nursing job, and despairs of ever finding love again. In fact, he doesn’t think he’s capable of true love. Monogamy, commitment, companionship, and regular sex…that’s all he wants, and the sooner, the better.
When Nash crosses paths with a like-minded man who’s also in need of a live-in nurse for a beloved relative, Nash figures all his problems are solved. Matters are complicated by a freak accident and amnesia. When Nash’s marriage of convenience scheme is muddied by notions of love after his memory reboot, will their plans go awry, or will Nash’s new outlook on life be just what the doctor ordered?
I am so glad that Nash got his own book. I read the first book “Till Death do us Part” and though I was happy for Sam and Henry, my heart broke for Nash. It was just a really crap out situation that they all found themselves in so I am glad that Nash found his story.
Nash was understandably sad and hurt from his prior engagement breaking up but he knew in his heart that it was not anyone’s fault. Fate messed with Nash, Sam, and Henry. But regardless it broke his heart and left him feeling jaded where love was concerned. Nash pretty much decided that love was not for him and that he was not going to have anything to do with love what so ever. Instead he wanted to find someone who was like minded and just wanted to be happy together with the silly emotion such as love.
So that was Nash’s new motto. Little did he know that Dr. Birmingham heard what he is looking for in a perspective partner and wants to take Nash up on his wants. Emmitt is more then willing to go along with Nash’s wants, especially since he has had a crush on him for so long. Emmitt has the same outlook on love and thinks that him and Nash could have the perfect life and marriage together with both feeling the same way.
After Emmitt talks with Nash and lays out on the line that he feels the same as Nash does and asks him to marry him, Nash jumps at the chance to spend his life with a like minded individual. But little do either of these men know, Nash is about to have an accident and when he wakes up he will not be able to remember the past four months not to mention their plans to marry.
With amnesia in the picture for Nash, it is like a restart button for these two men and gives them the time they need to realize that not only have they fallen for each other but they are both capable of love. The only thing that stands in their way is how is Nash going to feel when he gets his memory back????
This was such a good read. Their was some serious situations and Nash had to relive his heartache. Once again so that was sad, but there was a lot of humor in this book also. Especially Gramos. He was a true schemer and I just loves his antics. I love that I was able to take Nash and Emmitt’s journey to finding each other and then finding so much more. This was a wonderful read.
