Best friends since high school, Chase Bradley and Alec Montero are opposites in almost every way. The one thing they can agree on, though, is that marriage is for suckers.

Everything is going their way until a drunken bet leads Alec and Chase to the altar. Their temporary “I Do’s” aren’t as amusing in the sober light of day when they find themselves thrown into married life and everything that goes with it.

The question they have to ask themselves now is, can their friendship survive being married for a month?

OMG! This book is the best kind of fluff there is! It was fun, romantic and deliciously hot. There is no overwrought drama or angst, just two best friends falling in love after being fake married to each other for a month.

Chase Bradley has no plans for ever settling down. He is happy living his life one hook-up at a time. He is so not the guy to get tangled up in the webs of marriage. But when his best friends lay down the bet of him “staying married for a month”, Chase takes up the challenge with gusto. And who better to get married to other than his only single best friend, Alec Montero.

Terms of the bet: Chase will have to cohabit with his best friend for a month while also doing couply things together like going on a date once a week.

It’s going to be a walk in the park, right???

WRONG!

What the best friends did not anticipate at all is being struck by cupid out of the blue! Suddenly there is a crackling connection between them they both can’t deny.

“Hell, I’d entertained the thought of running as fast and as far away as I could, but memories of being with Alec were hypnotic. I hated it, but I wanted him. For him, I had absolutely no shame, no sense of self-preservation. I stuck around because this was Alec. Alec was different. This wasn’t anything like the other guys, and as weird as it had suddenly become, I didn’t think I’d ever wanted anything more in my life.” ~ Chase

Read this fantastic story to find out how two best friends go from ‘fake husbands’ to ‘fake husbands with benefits’ to an honest to god couple.

I had a swell time reading this book. Alec and Chase were completely awesome together. Their transition from platonic friends to mutual ‘bed-breaking’ attraction to falling in love was an amazing experience. They had their doubts sure, but they resolve it without drama and with total honesty. I loved the ending! (I will not be able to look at JB’s face without busting my guts out laughing from now on*he he he he*)

We get dual POVs here and it was perfect in displaying the transformation of Alec and Chase’s feelings throughout the month. I loved their banter, their crazy dates and especially their sizzling chemistry. They already had a solid foundation as best friends and every new or developing nuance of their relationship adds up as sturdy building blocks with their love topping it all off as a ‘lavish penthouse’*chuckles*. It is a light read and completely crazy but very sweet and romantic also. I am in love!!!

“With Alec, I was drowning, and it was the best I’d ever felt. I wanted him to pull me under, to surround me, to never let me surface again.”

Alec and Chase get blindsided with the force of attraction that hits them. All of a sudden they are seeing each other in a crazy and sexually charged light. And when they give in to the ever-increasing chemistry, there are fireworks everywhere. The passion here is intense. Alec and Chase just could not keep their hands off of each other and it was HOT, HOT, HOT!!!

“I needed a minute—a minute to breathe, a minute to gather together all the pieces of myself I’d temporarily lost, a minute to wrap my head around the fact that the best sex I’d ever had was with my best friend.” ~Chase

Overall, this story is a fun, feel good romance with loads of passion and sugary sweet moments to make you go ga over the sweet ‘best-friends to lovers’ duo. It’s a must read for all romance lovers.

“I think I’ve always loved you. I just didn’t realize how much until I married you.” ~ Alec

“We’d started out married for a month, but Alec had always been meant for me. Now he was mine to keep forever.” ~ Chase

Highly Recommended!!!
