He thought his mate would never come back. He was wrong.
Jack Harrington told everyone who asked that he’d gotten over Connor a long time ago. And while he still hasn’t managed to convince himself, he moves on with his life. He doesn’t have a choice. Connor is gone for good.
Or is he?
Connor Warden didn’t plan to ever come back to Harrington Hills, but with an infant in tow, that is exactly what he does. His daughter needs a pack and he is going to give it to her.
When Jack and Connor’s lives literally collide again, will they be able to go back to what had been and find their connection once more? Or is the divide between them too deep to ever fully get over?

This series so far as been amazing. I really enjoyed reading this book. It was a good read about getting a second chance to fix a mistake and start over again.
Connor’s mistake was walking away from Jack nineteen months ago. Connor never figured Jack would leave with him when he left so he never bothered to ask him to go. After leaving he made the mistake of having a one night stand that resulted in his daughter Rosa which he could never be ungrateful for or regret. She is the single most important person to him and because of her Connor realized he needed his pack and most of all he needed the one person that is and will always be in his heart. It may not be easy though because he hurt Jack when he left and Jack may not be willing to forgive him,
Jack was slammed with a double whammy when he and David had a wreck and the person responsible for the wreck was none other than Connor. And Connor was not alone and that really hurt.
Jack was heartbroken when Connor left and did not so much as look back but when he returns suddenly and with a baby that is unmistakably his in tow it almost kills Jack.
He feels betrayed even though it is not the case but how could he not when he has always known Zack nor was his mate and Connor left him behind and comes back after evidently having been with someone else.
Can Jack and Connor land in some sort of common ground? Can they at least be civil for one another? Can Jack accept Rosa without resenting her for not being his?
This is a book about giving a second chance and about finding love once and for all. It is a book that shows that it never to late to forgive and find happiness. I love that there was the evident turmoil between these two men but hey was able to work through it to become a family, the three of them. I really look forward to the next book in this series if there is going to be one. Another great read!!
