BLURB TEXT Is it really wrong to want to murder your boss?
Dylan has worked for Gabe for two years. Two long years of sarcastic comments. Two long years of insults, and having to redo the coffee pot four times in the mornings to meet his exacting standards.
Not surprisingly he has devoted a lot of time to increasingly inventive ways to murder Gabe. From stabbing him with a cake fork, to garrotting him with his expensive tie, Dylan has thought of everything.
However, a chance encounter opens his eyes to the attraction that has always lain between them, concealed by the layers of antipathy. There are only two problems – Gabe is still a bastard, and he makes wedding planners look like hardened pessimists.
But what happens when Dylan starts to see the real Gabe? What happens when he starts to fall in love with the warm, wary man that he sees glimpses of as the days pass?
Because Gabe is still the same commitment shy, cold man that he’s always been, or is he? Has Dylan had the same effect on Gabe, and has his solid gold rule of no commitment finally been broken? With his heart taken Dylan desperately needs to know, but will he get hurt trying to find the answers?
From the author of ‘The Summer of Us’ comes another scorchingly hot romantic comedy, showing what happens between two men when rules get broken.
Wow this book just sucked me in and did not let go through the whole read. It was an amazing read that completely blew me away.
Lily Morton wrote an amazing book with this one. It is captivating. It is emotional. And at times it is heartbreaking. The two main characters could not have been more perfect for one another but it took almost the act of God for one of them to realize it.
Dylan is the type of person that takes no crap from his boss Gabe but at the same time he will not let anyone else talk about him or treat him badly. Dylan has tried to repress the attraction he has felt for Gabe and has been successful in doing so until recently.
Recently Dylan has been able to see the person behind the facade and his feelings for Gabe has come back full swing. The thing is he never expected that Gabe may have feelings for him also. When Gabe does allow his attraction to Dylan come to light Gabe tries to keep it in the sex with no strings attached category. But to Gabe’s dismay that is impossible when it comes to Dylan.
Through a lot of misunderstandings and Gabe pushing and pulling things between these two men take a turn for the worst. Can Gabe reverse the troubles by finally admitting to himself and Dylan that he is in love others him or is it too late?
This read was incredible. I could not put it down. I honestly believe that others will feel the same way that I did about it and this book will be a big hit.
