Can a pickup line from a stranger completely change the way an ordinary man sees himself?

Adrian wouldn’t have thought so, but after an ugly breakup where his self-esteem took a serious beating, he’s willing to try just about anything to repair the damage… even return to a secluded bar in rural Maryland and the intriguing stranger whose words have been on his mind since they met.

Biker, bouncer, bartender, and tattoo artist, Wyatt is a rolling stone. After fifteen years, he is tired of a life on the run, but he isn’t sure he knows how to do anything else or if he has anything besides a physical relationship to offer.

What’s supposed to be a one-off turns into another and another, and the relationship looks promising until the mob and the FBI come knocking on Adrian’s door.

I have to say with all honesty that this book completely blew me away. Talk about a book that believes in irony. Rowan McAllister definitely had a large dose of irony in this book.

Adrian in my opinion does not have the best self confidence. He does not think he is anything more then average and when his current boyfriend cheats and then blames Adrian for it saying that he is just too boring and lame in bed, Adrian reaches an all time low on self confidence.

Adrian finally decides he is going to put himself out there and spice up his life and goes to a gay club he accidentally stumbled into one night to find the man that made his blood boil by just a few words about Adrian being a power bottom. That is when he meets the man that helps Adrian to realize that he is more than what he thought of himself previously. Just one night with Wyatt and Adrian’s world was turned inside out.

Wyatt makes it clear from the beginning that he cannot give anything to Adrian because he has nothing to offer anyone but a good night here and there. Adrian agrees because he just cannot picture his life any longer without Wyatt in it in some form or fashion.

Wyatt has so many secrets that he keeps close to his heart that he does not trust easily. He fears if he lets someone get to close that it will endanger their life. But regardless of this fact, he cannot walk away from Adrian no matter how many times or how hard he tries. Adrian wormed his way in Wyatts heart quickly and is not willing to come out anytime soon.

Wyatt tried to do the right thing when he realizes that danger has gotten to close to him and Adrian both by walking away. The thing is, is the danger really because of Wyatt or is it because of Adrian.

This book was very fast paced. There was no lax in the reading. It was full of suspense and honestly, I could not figure out what was going to happen from one moment to the next. Or at least not until Rowan decided to let the readers in on what was truly going on. I love books like this one. It makes the read exciting.

I would definitely recommend this book in a heart beat to others to read because it was sooooo good. I am looking forward to reading more books by Rowan in the future because if this book is any indication as to what this author can write then I know I am in for a very good read!!

This book was such an exciting read that I could not put it down. Reading about Adrian and Wyatt was fun, exciting, and made me fall in love with the couple. Not everything in this book is as it seems. That made for a very suspenseful read. I would definitely recommend this book to others.

Hello, I am an avid reader of male/male books. I do not have a favorite genre when it comes to male/male books because I love all of them from romance, dark reads, paranormal, shifter, threesome, whatever I see that catches my eye at the time. I read books about rock stars, CEOs, military, cops, and just the original plain old good boy types of books. Basically when it comes to a book, I read whatever I am in the mood for at the time. So my tastes varies from day to day and sometimes even hour to hour.
