Stefan Joss just can’t win. Not only does he have to go to Texas in the middle of summer to be the man of honor in his best friend Charlotte’s wedding, but he’s expected to negotiate a million-dollar business deal at the same time. Worst of all, he’s thrown for a loop when he arrives to see the one man Charlotte promised wouldn’t be there: her brother, Rand Holloway.
Stefan and Rand have been mortal enemies since the day they met, so Stefan is shocked when a temporary cease-fire sees the usual hostility replaced by instant chemistry. Though leery of the unexpected feelings, Stefan is swayed by a sincere revelation from Rand, and he decides to give Rand a chance.
But their budding romance is threatened when Stefan’s business deal goes wrong: the owner of the last ranch he needs to secure for the company is murdered. Stefan’s in for the surprise of his life as he finds himself in danger as well.
Timing is the hate to love story of Stefan and Rand and how they find that they both share a wonderful chemistry and once in lifetime opportunity of love. Rand is Stefan’s best friend’s brother and they both hate each other with a passion. This is the story of how they realize that their hate is just a front for their feelings.
Stefan hates Rand. He loathes the air he breathes. He is thrown for a loop when he has to put up with Rand for his best friend’s wedding owing to Rand being her brother. But the wedding provides an opportunity for Rand and Stefan to connect and find how much passion they are hiding behind their hate. Rand and Stefan has explosive chemistry and it comes through in all their interactions. Even though Stefan hates Rand he realizes that Rand is not so bad after all. The author has done a really good job in making their love story believable. The way they take their relationship forward and how they solve their issues is really heart warming and fun to read. They have their issues to sort out and the suspense element also adds to their problems. But they find their happily ever after in spite of it all. The book is also having really wonderful secondary characters who contribute a lot towards the progression of the story. Especially noteworthy is Stefan’s best friend and his bond with her. The book is truly an endearing and heat warming read.
Timing is a sweet, emotional, sexy, fun and entertaining book which will take you on an unforgettable ride. Highly Recommended.
