Colin only meant to take a wrongly delivered package to a house a few streets over. But a sudden snowstorm leaves him with no option but to beg shelter from his unknown neighbour James. During the course of a long night, a cozy fire, a little hot chocolate and the snow outside conspire to draw the two men closer. But will their connection outlast the storm?

What a nice fluffy holiday short!

Colin is just planning on walking his dog when he sees he has gotten a package. But the package was supposed to be for Mounty Road, not Mount Road, so he sets out for a 30 minute walk with his dog to deliver the package. But instead of a 30 minute walk it turns into an hour walk in the middle of what looks like a blizzard. When Colin finally arrives at the house he is practically a popsicle.

James takes one look at the person who came out all that way to deliver his sister’s Christmas cookies and he immediately invites him in. It looks like Colin and his dog might have to stay a while too since the blizzard is still in full force. Lucky for both men they immediately click…

This was a lovely read. I always love the whole snowed-in-together trope. Colin and James were very sweet together, and I really got into the holiday mood with the mention of Christmas cookies and hot chocolate.
