BLURB
New York Barons tight end Gavin Brawley is suspended from the team and on house arrest after a video of him brawling goes viral. Gavin already has a reputation as a jerk with a temper on and off the field—which doesn’t help him once he finds himself on the wrong side of the law. And while he’s been successful professionally, he’s never been lucky when it comes to love.

Noah Monroe is a recent college grad looking for a job—any job—to pay off his mounting student debt. Working as Gavin’s personal assistant/babysitter seems like easy money. But Noah isn’t prepared for the electrifying tension between him and the football player. He’s not sure if he’d rather argue with Gavin or tackle him to the floor. But both men know the score, and neither is sure what will happen once Gavin’s timeout is over…

My life plan is to be brutally honest all the way to the bank. Don’t believe me? I run a popular YouTube channel called TrashyZane, and my claim to fame is oversharing about every aspect of my personal life. Sometimes while tipsy. Not everyone loves my style, but I have a long history of icing out people who can’t handle me. I have no time for judgmental foolishness.

Except, apparently, when it comes to Beau Starr. His channel is the polar opposite of mine, and so is he. Wholesome, inspirational, and clean-cut. Everything about him should turn me off, but when we hook up following a confrontation at a convention, my world flips upside down. Not only does Beau Starr turn me on, he uses the exact combination of dirty talk and roughness needed to turn me out.

But we still hate each other. I think.

Sequel to The Art of Breathing

Family is not always defined by blood. It’s defined by those who make us whole—those who make us who we are.

And here, at the end, Bear and Otter will be tested like they’ve never been before.

There’s a knock at the door from a little girl who has nowhere else to go.

There’s a phone ringing, bringing news they do not expect.

There’s a brother returning home after learning how to stand on his own.

As these moments converge, all of their lives will change forever.

Beginning in Bear, Otter, and the Kid and continuing in Who We Are and The Art of Breathing, TJ Klune has told a saga of family and brotherhood, of love and sacrifice. In this final chapter, the events of the past pave the long and winding road toward a future no one could have imagined.

Sandrine Gasq-Dion

To those offended that Sandrine Gasq-Dion did not “win” please understand that this is a fun way for Gay Book Review readers to have their say in their favorites for the year. There are no awards, just lists of books and authors. I thought the best way to honor Sandrine Gasq-Dion posthumously was to have a large banner created for her along with a link to her complete library. I will leave the poll results as-is but there was some discrepancy in the poll results as far as IP addresses go. I will leave it at that and thank all readers for their participation in our year-end lists.

  • I do not have a word to show how disappointed I am, we vote and you simply disregarded, that excuse given is completely ridiculous, I really hope you will resolve to do what is right, for not only was Sandrine disrespected just like all the other contenders.

  • Sandrine won this by a landslide, as voted on by READERS, and this is supposed to be the “Readers’ Choice Award”!! The readers have spoken, and Sandrine deserved that first place spot, not a meaningless “honorable mention”. This is insulting and rude to her readers, who took the time to vote. You’re telling them their votes and their voices don’t matter by refusing to honor the victory Sandrine won and deserved.

  • Was this poll rigged? Did you have a winner picked out before the poll began? Or do you just enjoy being disrespectful to someone who can’t advocate for themselves? Clearly Sandy won. And her consolation for your ineptitude is to make a banner and a link her books? You guys are despicable.

  • The readers did speak. They voted for Sandrine Gasq-Dion’s book Falcons Fox! I think you did a great disservice to the readers. As far as I’m concerned Sandrine won. If there was a discrepancy, it was on your part. I will never take your poll seriously because you don’t take it seriously.
