Police Detective Andrew Holden has a secret; he can see ghosts. It’s a pretty handy skill considering he works in the homicide department. His solve rate is at an all-time high and has attracted the attention of higher ups. His latest case—a kid found with fang marks on his neck—can only cause more issues. With a ghost that won’t talk, one that talks too much, and rumors of some kind of cult, another detective breathing down his neck is the last thing he needs.

Fae Detective Sean Farley, team lead of Supernatural Liaisons East, doesn’t have time to waste investigating police detectives whose only discernible crime is competence. He has real supernatural cases to solve and humans to keep safe (and ignorant). When the team is sent to Detective Holden’s backwater precinct, Sean’s not convinced of foul play, especially after he finds out that Drew is completely human. Drawn to Drew, the two men grow closer, and Sean wonders if they could be more than just colleagues. But when another body appears, Sean isn’t sure that Holden’s so innocent anymore…

This was a short story with a twist. It is a mystery with supernatural aspects. I truly enjoyed this book. It was a great read.

Drew is a police officer with a near perfect rate at catching the bad guys. Most think that he is psychic but really he just sees the ghost of the victims. Most of the time the ghosts are more than willing to help him solve their death but the new case he just caught is not like any other and the victim is not so much as saying a word to him. Instead all he does is stare into space and follow Drew around.

So when Drew is still stuck his boss decides to bring in another team to help solve the case and that is when he meets Sean. Sean does not know whether Drew is just very lucky, the actual killer, or has some supernatural abilities. But the one thing that Sean does know is that he is attracted to Drew and it is driving him crazy not knowing if he is a good guy or not.

When a second victim is found Sean determines that Drew is the one that is behind the killings and it is eating him up because he really likes him. Can Sean figure out what is going on and if Drew is behind the murders? If not Drew then how is he solving so many crimes and how is he involved in all of this?

This may have been a short story but it was a good one. This is the first book in this series but I suspect the next books will be just as good. I really enjoyed it. I look forward to the next book in the series. I hope that Drew and Sean will be in the next book.

Author

Hello, I am an avid reader of male/male books. I do not have a favorite genre when it comes to male/male books because I love all of them from romance, dark reads, paranormal, shifter, threesome, whatever I see that catches my eye at the time.

I read books about rock stars, CEOs, military, cops, and just the original plain old good boy types of books.

Basically when it comes to a book, I read whatever I am in the mood for at the time. So my tastes varies from day to day and sometimes even hour to hour.
