Pain fades but the scars remain.

When Logan Crawford, a former war correspondent turned best-selling author, appears on TV to promote his latest thriller, he is knocked out by his fellow guest, Sam Radcliffe. Logan’s travels around the world have opened his eyes to many things, but nothing as attractive as the man he meets that night. Sam was the victim of a vicious stabbing in his youth and is now an active campaigner against knife crime and violence. He is perfect in every way but one: the wedding band he wears. That’s a complication Logan doesn’t need.

Sam’s life is far from happy. His husband is addicted to hard-drugs and casual sex: a devastating combination. Johan was once the shining light in Sam’s life. Now he brings nothing but darkness. But Sam respects the vows they made. For better or for worse. The attraction Logan feels for him is mutual. Ruggedly handsome and engagingly smart, Logan is hard to resist. Sam will need to overcome the anguish of his past and barriers of his present if he’s to stand a chance with Logan.

Sometimes in life, enough is enough. When you get to that point, there is no turning back. That is what this book was about in my opinion. Giving up on the negative that constantly brings you down and moving forward with the positive and praying for a better future.

Sam is a married man and has been with his husband for eleven years now. But it has not always been a happy marriage. His husband Johan is no longer the person that Sam fell in love with. Instead he is a man that Sam barely recognizes. Even still Sam continues to give Johan the benefit of the doubt. Sam keeps fighting for their marriage and he way things was for the first four years of their marriage.

Sam meets a man named Logan by accident and immediately both feel a connection between them that is so strong not even the attraction they both feel is in comparison. Logan is a man that knows what he is looking for out of life after having lived his life in both he civilian aspect and behind the scenes of the military ascent as well. Not to mention that it took him marrying a woman and having a child with her for him to finally admit who he truly is, which is gay.

So when Logan meets Sam he knows he wants him but he also knows that from the ring on Sam’s hand that Sam is off limits. Or so he thinks anyway.

Could two men that are so attracted to one another find a way to be together even though one is truly unavailable? Is fate stepping in these two men’s paths and showing them what life could be like together?

There is a lot going on in this book and I am not going to give that away in my posting but I do suggest that this book be read because it truly is an incredible read. I cannot wait for another book by Thom to come out. I pray that there will be another book to go with this one.

Author

Hello, I am an avid reader of male/male books. I do not have a favorite genre when it comes to male/male books because I love all of them from romance, dark reads, paranormal, shifter, threesome, whatever I see that catches my eye at the time.

I read books about rock stars, CEOs, military, cops, and just the original plain old good boy types of books.

Basically when it comes to a book, I read whatever I am in the mood for at the time. So my tastes varies from day to day and sometimes even hour to hour.

Please comment! We'd love to hear from you.
