Never too late for love.
Three-hundred-and-fifty-year-old warlock Tikron must find his true love or forfeit his immortality. But if he hasn’t found his ideal mate in all these centuries, the prospects don’t look too bright.
That is, until he sees mathematician Richard Beaumont. It’s love at first sight and Tikron’s future just go a whole lot brighter.
Except Richard doesn’t believe in love at first sight. He doesn’t believe in love at all. He certainly doesn’t believe in magic. His life is ruled by statistics and logic, and they tell him a relationship with Tikron has only a 10 percent chance of success. That’s unacceptable—even if the attraction between them is off the charts.
With his powers waning and the clock ticking down, Tikron’s last hope is showing Richard the true meaning of magic
The Magic of Love
The blurb for the book sounded really interesting, but it far exceeded my expectations.
Richard is logical, practical and loves routine. Tikron is impulsive, passionate and magical. It was a hoot and heartwarming to see how Tikron tried to convince Richard that magic is real. My favorite scene is when his friend helped him in the park when Richard took his dog for a walk.
When Richard finally, through logic and proof, believes in magic he throws himself into it which was awesome to see. He became the perfect soulmate for Tikron. You would think that the story would end there, but it doesn’t.
There is a surprise guest who I never thought would make an appearance. I won’t tell you who it is, but this person throws a wrench into the works, in a good way, and makes for a more exciting story.
There is one more twist but it does have a happy ending. It even has one of those endings where I didn’t want the story to end. I sure hope the author comes out with a part 2 because I feel the story deserves it and I would love to read the continuation of their partnership.
I highly recommend this book. If you love an opposites attracts story that includes magic and passion and some comical scenes, then you will love this book.
