Not because he isn’t in love—he can’t stomach the thought of putting Cam in danger.

Kidnap and rescue expert Cameron Byrne is determined to figure out what trouble Nic is running from, but devastating news from home brings him back to Boston and to the cold case that has haunted his family for two decades. Shoving aside his pride, he calls Nic for help.

Together they search for answers, navigating the minefield of Cam’s past. But when they get too close to the truth, Cam must use every skill in his arsenal to save the man he loves…before it’s too late.

End of Year TBR

With Craft Brew out now, and Noble Hops (Trouble Brewing #3) done with edits (coming your way February 2019), I’ve got some writing to do on new projects, and also time to read again. Woohoo! My TBR is forever growing, and there are so many great books to add through year-end. These are the upcoming reads on the top of my list!

  • Why the Devil Stalks Death (Death and the Devil #2), by L.J. Hayward – Okay, truth time, I beta read this one, but I will be first in line to read the final when it releases in December. Jack and Ethan are one of my favorite m/m couples, and L.J. continues to expertly develop the complicated relationship between spy and assassin. This Book 2 was right up my alley, with twisty casework, exciting chases, and so much delicious tension between our two complex heroes.
  • Loving a Warrior, by Melanie Hansen – After Point of Contact, I will read anything Melanie releases. Seriously, a phone book even, if that’s what it was. Loving a Warrior is another military romance, so I know it will be the same kind of engrossing, well-researched deep-dive that PoC was, while also being intensely romantic.
  • Forever Wilde Book 5 (Saint), by Lucy Lennox – I love this series! It’s fun, flirty, big on family, and with just enough angst to make the heart hurt, then sing when our heroes get their HEAs. Saint has been glimpsed and hinted at in previous installments, his gentle treatment of Charlie in Hudson’s Luck especially swoony. I can’t wait to see what Lucy has in store for his own story.
  • Silas’s Book, by Lily Morton – Silas was an intriguing fellow when he appeared as Henry’s brother in the Mixed Messages A dedicated brother, the vet was seen knocking around their huge family estate. I welcome the snark-fest that we’ve come to expect and love from Lily as she introduces Silas to his love interest, Oz.
  • Better Not Pout, by Annabeth Albert – Need a Christmas read? Annabeth delivers with a grumpy soldier playing St. Nick for a local charity, and the bubbly, perky charity director that charms the grump right out of Nick. I read an ARC of this one, and I’ll be reading again whenever I need a shot of holiday cheer.

What books are you looking forward to as we round out 2018? Tell us in the comments!

I am an unapologetic book addict/lover. I’m happiest when reading and I spend most of my time with my Kindle, which is never far from my hand.
I love to be told a good story! I mostly read fiction: Romance, Erotica, Young Adult, New Adult, Paranormal (shifters? Yes, please!), a little BDSM when I’m in the mood, and I love a good ménage story. I DEFINITELY PREFER A HFN/HEA!

My biggest no-no’s are cheating, miscommunication / misunderstanding plots, unnecessary angst, and cliffhangers.

A sampling of my “Favorite M/M” stories:

Carry the Ocean The Half of Us Red Dirt Heart Adulting 101 Tied Up In Knots
Shelter the Sea Manties in a Twist David, Renewed Ethan who Loved Carter Perfect Imperfections
Wolfsong Fight the Tide How to Walk Like A Man The Lightning-Struck Heart Forging the Future
