It was supposed to be the perfect arrangement.
Easy sex in exchange for a cozy bed. Until Meik’s darkest secret scratches the surface, forcing him to cut Sebastian loose in a last-ditch attempt to regain his sanity.
But he’s not the only one with secrets.
All along, the enigmatic musician had something to hide. Will Meik manage to tear himself free or will his obsession and memories batter him into submission?
This is the third book of the Gay Erotic Romance “Obsessed”. It features explicit adult m/m content as well as romantic elements. The book ends on a cliffhanger.
That was the sound of a heart breaking. Thing is, I’m not sure if it’s his or mine… probably both?
Luckily we don’t have to wait so long until the fourth and final book is ready, because yes this leaves us hanging off a cliff. If you haven’t read the books before this one I highly recommend you do, and if you don’t like cliffhangers then just wait until December and read them all instead.
Here we get an even deeper insight into Meik’s past, his possessiveness and obsession still as strong and the emotions of the characters are contagious, basically what they feel is what I feel -well except for Meik being a bit of a jerk at times, as usual. Although he wouldn’t be our Meik otherwise, you know?
He has a high ego but at the same time Meik’s care shows through the cracks in the wall he has built around himself. It’s like Sebastian said “He cares in his own way.” And it makes me care about him. At the same time Meik can be unintentionally cruel and I just feel for Sebastian.
However, I also feel for Meik, so it’s quite an emotional mess over here.
The amount of hot sex has lessened a little in favor of more plot development in a natural progression. The characters and their emotions are done explicitly well. I don’t know what it is with their writing style but it works perfectly for me.
Look at that. I am your god after all
I loved this just as much as the other two in the series, all of them have something special and different to offer in this series. Highly recommended!
