Carl “Bear” Barnes loved working for C.L.A.W, a shifter section of MI6. Not only has he made a home for himself there, but he might have found his mate, even if the other man does seem oblivious.

Crow shifter Benjamin Clearwater joined C.L.A.W. looking to escape his past. A tech genius, he found it easy to hide in his work, keeping everyone at arm’s length. He always knew, though, that a fresh start wouldn’t be that easy.

When a ghost form his past threatens everything, making Benjamin look guilty of a crime he didn’t commit, he knows he must go on the run in order to clear his name.

Bear’s feelings might seem one-sided, but won’t let Benjamin go it alone. A game of cat and mouse, a twisted treasure hunt, and the fact that they keep almost getting blown up isn’t going to put him off as they travel over England trying to hunt the man who’s hunting them.

This was a really great read. I enjoyed it so much. It is a shifter romance/mystery. That being said, how could I not like it considering shifter and mystery reads are among some of my favorites? Jane did a great job at writing this book. It was full of twists and turns. And in the end, I was blown away by the final twist I never saw coming.

Ben works for C.L.A.W. as their computer guy. He loves everything that revolves around his computer. Even coming up with new hardware that will eventually make things easier for those that work with the agency. His number one prize is a program named Sasha. As of now the program is not in circuit. It is still in testing phases.

One of the things the program is able to do is keep track of the Agents when out in the field. That is one of the things that he loves the most because he is able to help the agents out when they are in trouble. But this also helps to insure that Bear is safe at all times.

Bear is an agent for the same company. He has a crush on Ben for as long as he has known him. But so far nothing has come of it. That is about to change. Something is heading full blast at Ben and he is going to need Bear’s help to get out of it…hopefully alive.

While Bear and Ben are working closely together, they end up opening up to one another and in the process of it, opening up their hearts.

Can Bear and Ben work out the mystery behind what is going on and why someone is out for Ben? Can they do that before Ben or someone else is killed in the process?

This was a great read. I really enjoyed all the mystery and the twists this read took. I look forward to the next book when it comes out. Jane Wallace-Knight did a great job on this book!!!

Hello, I am an avid reader of male/male books. I do not have a favorite genre when it comes to male/male books because I love all of them from romance, dark reads, paranormal, shifter, threesome, whatever I see that catches my eye at the time. I read books about rock stars, CEOs, military, cops, and just the original plain old good boy types of books. Basically when it comes to a book, I read whatever I am in the mood for at the time. So my tastes varies from day to day and sometimes even hour to hour.
