Cael is a demon with only a few days left before his deadline for returning to Hell runs out. He wants to stay on earth and he is doing everything he can to get Angel Malak into bed so that he can avoid his fate. But time is fast running out for Cael.
Malak owes Cael a debt of gratitude for saving his life three thousand years ago, but he is not sure that he wants to pay Cael’s price and share his soul with him even though he is the most beautiful demon Malak has ever known. According to Heaven’s decree he is stuck with Cael until one of two things happens: Either the time limit imposed by Heaven elapses and Cael has to return to Hell or Malak loses his virginity in which case Cael wins his freedom.
Recently Malak has been trying to avoid Cael at all costs so that he won’t fall into his bed. Cael is spending all of his time, from flattery to outright seduction, in an all-out last ditch effort to get Malak between the sheets so that he could be free until the End of Days.
Dancing on the Head of a Pin is a wonderful love story of two of the most unlikely lovers. Ms Kelly has such a vivid imagination that you feel as if you are living in the pages of her book. I could actually taste the time period of Sodom and Gomorrah when the whole world went up in flames; the smells, the sounds, the confusion, and the fear erupting everywhere. I fell in love with Malak and Cael – light as air and dark as night! The danger of the Horsemen and, with them the Apocalypse is ever present. The picture of Cael and Malak girding their loins for battle is so funny you will split your sides laughing. In the end good triumphs over evil and all is well with the world.
