Review Summary

A quick look at an established trio reconnecting after being apart. This is a hot yet tender little short.

Rig’s been away from home for three weeks, doing volunteer work in hurricane ravaged areas. He gets off the plane at LAX late at night and all he wants is to find the car rental desk so he can get home to his Marines. Lucky for him, Rock and Dick surprise him at the airport and whisk him away to welcome him home as only they can.

This is a Torquere Press Charity Short. All proceeds benefit Doctors Without Borders.

Rig’s been away volunteering in the aftermath of a hurricane and is finally on the way home to his men. When he arrives at the airport Rock and Dick surprise him and whisk him off to a welcome back night of loving, Jarhead style.

It’s been a bit since I’d read a Jarheads story so it was nice to catch up with Rig and his men. The story takes place in just a few hours and shows them as in love as always. Rig comes back worn out and Rock and Dick do all they can to make his homecoming special. The sex is hot as always but what I really liked were the simple little moments that tell their long history. Their touches, words and emotions show a well established trio.

Something else I like is how the author continues to show the men as time passes. When Rock tells Rig next time they’ll come with him and Rig worries about Rock getting older it served to remind me just how long these guys have been together. When the pet names disappeared in favor of a softly spoken “Jim” it made my Jarhead loving heart happy indeed.

Fans of the author and his Jarheads series are sure to enjoy Homecoming.
