Scarred both physically and emotionally after a motorcycle accident, twenty-five year old ex fashion model and porn star Oliver Brown is about to be stripped bare by flamboyant twink Leslie Scott—and they’ll rebuild love from the bottom up.

Twenty-five year old Oliver Brown is addicted. Two years ago, he was at the height of his career as “Nikki Star,” fashion model, porn actor, partier without peer. Then came the accident. Hiding his scars, both emotional and physical, he’s gone into hiding. But fine clothing is some solace. A new suit by Debussy? Better even than a ride on his motorcycle Hulk or all the things he used to give and take on camera.

Enter Leslie Scott, the flamboyant, dark-haired, heel-and-tiny-short-wearing twink sent to deliver Oliver’s newest fix. A firecracker, Leslie is dapper, generous, in touch with his feminine side but all man, and as gorgeous as any garment ever made. He makes Oliver dream of ending his recursion, of recapturing a future forever denied him. But for that to happen, Leslie would have to strip him to the bone. Only then will they rebuild life from the bottom up.

Before anything else, I’ll just point out that, according to the dedication, the guy on the cover is a friend of the author’s who posed just for this book in his own corset and high heels. I think this is super cool!

I’ve been very excited for this, because Leslie was a very interesting character in the previous books of the series and I wanted him to get his own story. Also, because…CROSSDRESSING! And as far as Leslie is concerned, the author did not disappoint. Witty, smart, gorgeous and funny as hell, he wears his heart on his sleeve and walks in his high heels like he was born in them. He is a diva and acts like one, but at the same time a sweetheart, a great lover and an amazing friend.

Now, Oliver…I did not like him. I never warmed up to him, start to finish, he was not worthy of Leslie and to be honest I would prefer Leslie to end up with Frankie, another character in the book, who wanted him. My biggest problems with Oliver:

*He is an ex porn star. Porn stars and gay for pay generally is not my favourite theme but I don’t dismiss books because of it. The problem here is that Oliver was actually nostalgic of his past, he would talk wistfully of his porn days and misses the “career” he left behind. Dude! You were a porn star, not an Oscar winning actor! The guy would even jerk off to his own movies! No….just no.

*Oliver was living isolated because of an accident ( for which he was 100% to blame) that left him scarred. I think he was just vain. Leslie and other characters from the book admitted that he was exaggerating, the scar was not that bad.

*He was a complete asshole to Leslie towards the end, using the most common and shittiest excuse out there : “you deserve better”.

TBH I’m kinda disappointed but there are some pretty interesting secondary characters in the book and if the author decides to give them a story, I would read it.
