Sometimes when it seems like it’s too late, the right person comes along and opens your eyes…

Murphy is the continuing story of a D/s relationship between two Space Marines who found each other in the midst of hopelessness and misfortune.

Sarge and his newly minted squad travel across the galaxy on a top-secret mission that could help win the war. However, to Murphy something about the mission stinks, and it’s not just the planet they’ve landed on.

Murphy makes it out of the cave they were in at the end of Sarge! Good thing too since the title of the sequel is Murphy.

Sarge and Murphy find themselves finally off the god-forsaken alien planet they were on in Sarge and are now healing and resting comfortably on a military ship with better medical resources, comfortable temperatures and unlimited hot water. They are considered heroes and have both been promoted and are closer than ever after having survived hell together. The reader can easily see that Sarge is slowly but surely opening up about his strong emotions for Murphy, but with Murphy’s heightened sight and is ability to tell a person’s emotional status by the color waves that come off of them, he is able to see what Sarge feels without any vocalization. Sarge was downright warm and fuzzy at times! He is absolutely gone for Murphy and turns into a marshmallow with concern for Murph. For example (keep in mind that the men share an extreme D/s relationship, one where both get off on authority and humiliation):

Oh god. Just the thought of sucking cock right now is going to make me puke. I press my lips together and give a little headshake.

Sarge goes still, his eyes searing into me. “No?” he asks. “No.” It’s just a whisper, but at the sound of it, the outrage on his face blinks out like a light. What it’s replaced by is a wide look of concern. The air is almost crackling around him, and I wince. The vivid hues hurt my eyes.

“What’s wrong?” Then he remembers where I said I was. “Vaccine?”

After some kick-ass hurt/healing/comfort and some awesome, kinky sex, the boys find themselves on another mission and we get ANOTHER big dose of hurt/healing/comfort along with beautiful conversation between the two that lets their love for one another very obvious to the reader.

And, once again, how can the kinkiness, raunchiest, dirtiest sex I have ever read also turn into a mind melting love story? Without either of them even expressing
their feelings out loud? Well, however Bey Deckard did it, it is an astounding success.

HIGHLY, HIGHLY recommended!
