Everything is finally falling into place for Trey Cooper: his band has been accepted into one of the biggest music competitions in the country…too bad their drummer just quit to play with XYZ, their biggest rival. When Trey has a mind-blowingly hot hookup with a mysterious violinist, Trey definitely plans to see him again – just not on stage as a member of XYZ.

Dominic Bounds’ time to make his musical dreams come true is running out. If something doesn’t happen fast, he has to head home to find a real job. This competition is his last chance, and Dom needs to come out on top – but he never expected to fall for his rival. As Dom and Trey risk everything to begin a secret affair, there’s no denying their chemistry is off the charts – but could their band rivalry turn their romance into a one-hit wonder?

Body Rocks is the story of two musicians destined to be rivals and yet cannot help but fall for each other. This book had everything which I love, two wonderful main characters, music, angst and also bevy of wonderful secondary characters too.

Trey and Dominic are similar yet so different. They both are still bound by their past and their demons. On the surface they may seem really put together, but as the story progresses, we can see that they both are hiding a lot behind their facade. Dominic and Trey had that wonderful, sexy and deep bond which made them pursue each other in spite of them being rivals. But what I liked the most is that they fell in love only as the story progressed. The author has crafted a story which is realistic and very believable. The growth and progression of their relationship and the issues they had to face together as a couple and their secrets and the angst in fact everything in this story was believable and it was portrayed realistically. Trey and Dominic knew what they had was a once in a lifetime kind of love and they worked to sustain it. Their love and everything about them captured my heart. Also noteworthy is the wonderful secondary characters. They all contributes to the story in their own way and I loved each and everyone of them.

Body Rocks is a wonderful love story and it is also about the power of love. I loved Trey and Dominic and now I cannot wait to read Lincoln’s story. A wonderful and rocking start to a new series by the author. Read this book to go on a beautiful, emotional and and heartwarming journey.
