Politics, puppy dogs, and passion, oh my!

When his Republican opponent outs him with a photo in a Facebook post, Senator Samuel Dalton doesn’t have many options open to him. It doesn’t matter that the photo is totally innocent. He has no choice but to come clean… until his staff suggest putting a spin on it that leaves Sam reeling.

Sure, he’ll end up with a lot of sympathy, not to mention the possibility of more voters from the LGBT community, but it still seems a pretty drastic solution.

Now all they have to do is persuade Gary, the other man in the photo, to play along. It sounds so easy: convince the constituents of North Carolina that he and Sam are engaged.

No big deal, except for the fact that they’ve only just met…

KC Wells truly knows how to take a book and make it into so much more. The Senator’s Secret is just an incredibly sweet story. It is full of humor, secrets, and of course love. I enjoyed every minute of this read. I found myself smiling as I was reading it. That is the work of a magnificent author.

Sam is the senator of North Carolina. A very conservative state. He has put everything he has into his job as the senator and doing everything that he can to make the life for North Carolinians better. Including putting his personal life on hold, along with his sexuality. It is re-election time and Sam is running against a not so nice competitor, Pastor Hartsell.

After an innocent hug to a coworker on his campaign, who also happens to be a man, and also a hidden individual with a camera to capture the moment….a can of worms has been opened that can never be closed again.

After the picture of Sam and Gary appears on social media for all to see, Sams campaign staff comes up with a plan. The plan is to tell the truth. Well some of it anyway. Sam and Gary are to pretend to be in a relationship, fiancées, and they was trying to keep it on the down low. After everyone agrees to go along with it, this sets both Gary and Sam on the path to change their futures forever and it may their opportunity to actually fall in love. Only time will tell!!!!

This book was so full of humor anywhere from Dinky to Sam’s mother. It is a book that I found myself laughing out loud along with the characters. I would definitely consider it a feel good read. I believe that KC Wells has a huge hit on their hands with this book and I believe that many others will find it to be just as wonderful as I did.

Hello, I am an avid reader of male/male books. I do not have a favorite genre when it comes to male/male books because I love all of them from romance, dark reads, paranormal, shifter, threesome, whatever I see that catches my eye at the time.

I read books about rock stars, CEOs, military, cops, and just the original plain old good boy types of books.

Basically when it comes to a book, I read whatever I am in the mood for at the time. So my tastes varies from day to day and sometimes even hour to hour.

Please comment! We'd love to hear from you.
