Love runs wild on the Appalachian Trail in the latest from the author of Out of Frame and Focus on Me…
Levi Grainger needs a break. As a reality show star, he’s had enough of the spotlight and being edited into a walking stereotype. When he returns home after the last season of Trip League, he expects to spend time with his family, only to learn his sister is coming back from her deployment in a flag-draped casket. Devastated, Levi decides the best way to grieve will be to go off grid and hike the Appalachian Trail—a trip he’d planned to do with his sister.
His solitary existence on the trail is interrupted when he meets Thad, a quiet man with a hard body and intense eyes. Their connection is stronger than anything Levi has ever experienced. But when Levi discovers the truth about what Thad is hiking to escape, their future together looks uncertain, and uncertainty is the last thing Levi needs…
You were everything I hoped for and more-
Overexposed by Megan Erickson is the story of Levi and Thad. We first met Levi in Out of Frame. In this story, he’s no longer on the reality show and hiking the Appalachian Trail. While hiking the trail, he meets Thad. Quiet, intense, yet thoughtful Thad. What ensues is a romantic hurt, comfort, healing love story.
-The cover. It’s gorgeous and drew me on right away.
-Levi and Thad. I fell in love with them. There’s something special about their stories and backgrounds and how it molded each man. The character growth was excellent.
-Relationship development. This is the best Megan Erickson’s ever written. The way she built the sexual tension between them and developed their fingers as they hiked together. Gah, so freakin great!
-Angst. Never overwhelming but enough that it will make your heartache and at least tear up. I’m not ashamed to admit I cried a few times. LOL
Y’all are in for a treat!
-The end. ♥ Also…I need a book for Matty!
So do I recommend it?
I can’t recommend this book enough. Overexposed took me on a beautiful journey of family, healing, and love that had me feeling butterflies in my stomach and left me feeling all warm and fuzzy. Megan Erickson’s best individual effort to date! 5 Stars!
