Josh Cooper, top US security field agent, is sent on an inter-agency assignment to London, when a partner in his firm goes missing in suspicious circumstances. Used to working in sole charge of his well-honed team, he clashes heads with the handsome, but pompous Cal, his UK co-operator and superior. Josh’s gut tells him something is wrong. He’s being kept out of the loop and Cal’s agenda is running on a different path.

He also has a personal issue to deal with. He’s involved in a cyber-relationship with “Charlie”, an unknown man who connected with Josh by accident. Their banter has led to deeper respect and a sexual interest, but now Josh is faced with a growing attraction to Cal. Between this conflict and the tension of the mission, Josh’s heart and head are overworked and confused. Things can’t get much worse.

Then Josh discovers the enemies he’s seeking have a new target: him.

This is one of those books that will blow you away. Or at least it did me. I loved this book. It was such an exciting read and I have to say that I would have never figured that who turned out to be the bad guy in the end was who it was.

If you are looking for a book that is full of action, full of mystery and suspense, full of longing, full of lust, and definitely full of so many secrets….then this book is for you. There was never a dull moment in this book nor was there a lull in all the action.

Josh works for a company named CDR. He works in a three man team with twin brothers Landry and Gil. They are a good team and work hard to protect those they are assigned to. They have just came off of a job when they are called into the office by their boss Dominic. They are told they are being sent to London to help a sister company find a missing friend of both companies. This is unusual since this is not in the realm of work they normally perform but they will not back out on their job.

Once in London and the investigation into what is going on starts up, everything starts to go to hell in a hand basket pretty quickly. The investigation into a missing man turns into more the further they dig and the men they have to work with is not handing out much information either.

Once Josh meets Cal (worker for the sister company) meet they butt heads from the beginning. The more they are around each other and the more they work together and get to know one another the more their attraction to one another becomes harder to ignore. The problem is for one, Josh has a pen pal of sorts that he has been in love with for two years now. Two, Josh knows Cal is hiding some very major secrets that he knows he will not be let in on. Last, Josh is not sure who to trust and who is actually the good guy and who is not. Regardless these two men continue to get closer and the closer they get, the more danger they are both in. Especially when the tables are turned and the now murder has his or her sites set on Josh.

This was such an invigorating read. I truly fell in love with he characters in this book. This is the first time I have read a book by Sue Brown but if the other books by this author are as good as this one then I will definitely be reading more in the near future. I cannot wait for the next book in this series to come out because I am completely addicted now. Such an amazing read!!

Sue Brown is owned by her dog and two children. When she isn’t following their orders, she can be found plotting at her laptop. In fact she hides so she can plot and has gotten expert at ignoring the orders.

Sue discovered M/M erotica at the time she woke up to find two men kissing on her favorite television series. The series was boring; the kissing was not. She may be late to the party, but she’s made up for it since, writing fan fiction until she was brave enough to venture out into the world of original fiction.
