Jacob Z. Flores welcomes you to the sandy beaches of Provincetown and the heartfelt romances that flourish there.

When Love Takes Over: The odd goofball and the suave beefcake may either find love amid Provincetown’s colorful pageantry where summer never seems to end—or more heartbreak than either can imagine.

Chasing the Sun: Gil believes finding true love is an unobtainable dream. Then he runs into Tom Martinez. But Gil hesitates to fall into Tom’s arms, because the potential scandal of loving a younger man could separate him from his children permanently.

When Love Gets Hairy: Teddy doesn’t remember the “Bear Week” party, much less the Abercrombie & Fitch model wannabe next to him. When they glimpse each other the next morning, it’s loathing at first sight. But are they fighting each other or the attraction growing between them?
When Love Comes to Town: When Brody and Eric meet, what they want and what they find conflict. An ocean of expectations separates them. If they cannot move past their reservations to reach each other’s shores, they might miss the boat when love comes to town.

Provincetown is a beautiful seaside community nestled on the coast of Maine. This is also the location for all four books of this bundle, hence the series name.

The first book of this bundle, “When Love Takes Over”, is about Zach and Van. The book starts with the story of Zach. The author from San Antonio who gets dumped by his boyfriend of 3 years and how he ends up in Provincetown. These chapters about Zach gets very wordy and to me it feels like it takes a long time to get to the meat of the story where he finally meets Van. Zach and Van come from two different worlds but end up finding their other half in each other and fall in love. This book has a HEA ending.

The fluffy filler of the story, though, was exactly that, fluff. The fluff was sex – and a lot of it. It was like a gay porn movie married a TV sitcom, had a baby, and that gay boy followed in his father’s footsteps and became a pornstar.

As the first story of this series I was a little disappointed. Too much fluff and a very wordy beginning. This story was done three years before the author’s latest book, Undercover Boyfriend, that I truly love and highly recommend to everybody. So this just shows how far the author has come. Love you Jacob

So much better than book one. I’m not a big fan of multi-generational relationships, but the author handled this one beautifully.

This is the second book of the bundle, “Chasing the Sun”. Dr. Gil Kelly is the father of Zach Kelly from the first book. He was outed viciously by his now ex-wife Donna to the town. He’s been ostracized and ridiculed for the last few years. Gil runs into Zach’s childhood best friend Tom. Gil invites him to his house for dinner where Tom reveals that he’s been in love with Gil for many years. They end up together and fall in love.

Gil and Tom decide to reveal their relationship to Gil’s children and the town. Donna makes an appearance and creates a scene. It all works out, though, and there is a wonderful HEA.

This book was a vast improvement from the first book. The writing style is different and much better. There was a lot more dialogue and less wordiness and explanation, but enough that we understood exactly what was going on. There was some hot scenes in this book, but it was not loaded with sex like the first book. Overall, I really enjoyed this story. Can’t wait to read the next one.

Can a bear and a fashion model make a go of it? This author says yes. The fashion model is Nino and the bear is Teddy. Yes, that’s his name. This is the third book of the bundle, “When Love Gets Hairy”.

It’s Bear Week in Provincetown. The one week of the year that Nino detests more than any other. These hairy men disturb his love of the smooth and sculpted men that he loves to capture and bed.

Teddy and Nino wake up, after a party, in the same bed and it’s instant angst. They keep running into each other, throw mutual barbs, yet, they feel drawn to each other. Teddy’s ex-boyfriend comes into town and throws a wrench into the works. Nino remembers what happened at the party and he runs to find Teddy to persuade him that they belong together. Nino, who doesn’t like bears, ends up with one.

The books in this series just keep getting better and better. This story shows that love can happen between a smooth and hairy during Bear Week in Provincetown. One book left. Let’s get to it.

This is the fourth and last book of the bundle, “When Love Comes to Town”.

Eric and Brody are in town for Van and Zach’s wedding. Brody is the ex-boyfriend of Teddy, who is the boyfriend of Nino, who is the best friend of Van. Eric is Van’s cousin. This story brings all the characters of the previous books together and brings this bundle to a wonderful completion and wrap up. I love that.

This last book of the bundle is really beautiful. Can any story with a precocious nine-year-old girl not be beautiful and adorable? Eric and his daughter Maddie come to attend the wedding and leave behind a tragic past. Brody comes to pick them up at the ferry dock and surprisingly hits it off with Maddie who is much too grown up to be a nine-year-old. She’s a handful and too smart for her own good which leads to funny situations. Brody and Eric start falling for each other, but a secret is keeping them apart. When the secret is revealed love blooms between them. There is a wonderful happy ending for all the couples.

This bundle is a must-read. Not only does this have beautiful location, but it also has sweet stories with just the right amount of angst and some interesting pairings. I highly recommend this bundle.
