Jackson Carlisle has rotten luck with men and women, and after an especially bad situation, he takes a step back from romance. But with a two-week family reunion in Hawaii looming, his mom is determined to set him up with one of the sweet singles she knows would be perfect for him. A normal person would tell her no and be done with it. Instead, Jackson tells her he has a boyfriend. The only problem? He doesn’t.

Aaron Wilkes is an escort. He’s a little surprised when a friend’s girlfriend hires him to date her brother, but he’s had stranger jobs. Jackson is cute, and he thinks a fling with Aaron might be just the kind of no-strings-attached fun he needs to get over his dry spell. As they explore the islands together, their carefully laid plans begin to get away from them. Feelings aren’t supposed to come into play, but that shouldn’t be a problem. After all, you can’t fall in love in two weeks….

“Will you be my escort” by Meg Harding is a very sweet and fun read. The crazy but supportive and loving Carlisle family were a major aspect of why loved this book so much. It’s a new spin to the rent boy trope where our MC is not a gigolo but pretends to date people for a living. It was fun, crazy, sexy and with very minimal angst.

Jackson Carlisle has rotten luck in love. He has been burned time and again but he is a hopeless romantic always in the search of his “ONE TRUE LOVE”. After the latest relationship disaster, Jackson has remained single, not ready to bet his heart again. When he gets the invitation to the Carlisle family reunion, Jackson lies his ass off to his mother about his new boyfriend to get her off his back. The only problem being: Where to find a fake boyfriend to make his lie work???

Georgina, Jackson’s sister introduces him to Aaron Wilkes, an escort. Aaron likes to help people in a bind. He pretends to be his client’s significant other to help them escape sticky situations with families like Jackson’s. Aaron has to pretend to be Jackson’s boyfriend for two weeks while vacationing in the beautiful Hawaii. What Aaron is not prepared for are his emotions and strong, swiftly growing feelings for his sweet and broken client, Jackson. He decides to help Jackson get over his insecurities but when his interest turns from professional to personal, Aaron is in trouble. There is no way they can fall in love in just two weeks or can they???

This was a very sweet and low-angst book. The development of feelings between Aaron and Jackson is done very beautifully amidst some very scenic setting. The stupid Carlisle family competition and the childish but sometimes crazy competitive events in the story made for a very funny background to the budding romance. I liked the easy relationship the Carlisle siblings had with each other. They were supportive of Jackson but also did not lose the chance to tease him.

As can be predicted the couple do break up when things start to get real but they get their HEA at the end. I just didn’t like the huge time jumps in between. It was necessary to counter the insta-love but the incorporation was not smooth at all.

Overall, I enjoyed this sweet and funny romance. If you are looking for a stress free read with a crazy family and a cute romance, then this is the book for you.
