Aaron Hall has never been able to remain faithful to a single woman, and for most of his life, he’s dated two women at once. Recently his girlfriend tracked him down and knocked on his door—and his live-in girlfriend answered. Now he has no girlfriend and a mortgage he can’t pay by himself.
Vinnie Rosello needs to change his life—get a better job, stop drinking all his money away, find himself a serious boyfriend… and move out of his parents’ house. Aaron needs help with his expenses, so they become housemates.
Even though Aaron harbors some misconceptions about gay men and Vinnie misses his large Italian family, both men find comfort in their friendship. It’s a good arrangement until everything between them changes
Vinnie falls in love with Aaron, and Aaron is shocked to realize he feels the same. There’s only one problem—he’s still straight. He’ll have to overcome his fear of labels in order to love the man who’s captured his heart.
I have to be honest, I really enjoyed this book. It is a book that I would describe as a gay for you book because there is no other way to describe Aaron. He is definitely straight but when it comes to love having a label on your sexuality may not always come in to play when the heart does.
This book was very humorous in some ways and in other ways I felt sorry for both Aaron one Vinnie. From the beginning I could tell there was definitely an attraction at least on Vinnie’s part and as time went on and the more Aaron thought about things between him and Vinnie, the was at least the attraction side of it for him.
It really took a lot for Aaron to get over the label of gay, straight, bi or any other label. When it came to Aaron just going with his feelings and shutting his brain off, things was extremely good between the two men. The enjoyed each other’s company. They enjoyed hanging out with the others family. They enjoyed teasing each other and making each other smile. It was just easy for them to fall into a relationship role together without either of them even realizing they had.
They took things slowly as far as experimenting with each other and neither pushed the other to do things they was not comfortable with. This I believe made it easier for them to continue to grow closer because the trust between the two of them grew. I also think that both men took each other’s feelings in to account because but was scared of doing something to hurt or scare the other. They have the perfect relationship together and Aaron does not even realize that he has everything in Vinnie that he has looked for in the many relationships with girls and failed to find.
I do believe that if Aaron did not put the pressure on himself to label what he was sexually since he was with Vinnie and wanted to continue to be with Vinnie, that he would have such an easier time with excepting all the changes he has went through with his relationship with Vinnie. I also believe that if he did not think so much and constantly worry about messing things up and not being able to stay faithful that he would have found his happy a lot sooner then he did.
This book was such a great read. I enjoyed reading about all the changes these two men went through and how it all turned out for them. This book was so much better then I expected it to be and I am glad that I read it.
