It’s not how big the power, it’s how you use it.
Mitchell’s tired of one night stands and casual encounters.
Sammi is a runaway sex slave who’ll do anything to stay free.
When they meet in a bar, Mitchell can’t believe his luck. Sammi is sex on two legs and seems to know just what Mitchell wants from a lover. But Sammi’s owner Donovan isn’t going to let him go so easily. He’s prepared to destroy anyone who stands in his way to get back his prized slave.
Is the bond between Mitchell and Sammi strong enough to stand up against the damage Donovan inflicts on their lives, or will it shatter?
Reader Advisory: This book deals with the sex slave industry and people who are held against their will.
Publisher’s Note: This book has previously been released elsewhere. It has been revised and re-edited for re-release with Pride Publishing.
This was a good book but I wish it would have been more revealing about some of he things that happened. I feel like their is still more of a story here that we did not get in this book. Hopefully that will be what book two is.
Sammi has every reason to be acted because he is definitely running for his life against his former boss per say. Sammi was held as a sex Slave and once he escapes Donavan would do whatever is necessary to get back his cash cow in Sammi including kill the ones who may stand in his way.
When Sammi meets Mitchell have he realizes that he and Mitchell share the bond that he has dreamed about and was told existed but thought was to good to be true, Sammi knew he would not give up Mitchell if he could.
To say that Sammi blew Mitchell away is an understatement and with just the one night together he knew that beyond a shadow of a doubt Sammi was made just for him.
The one thing that stands in the way of their happiness is Donavan. Sammi knows if he is caught then Mitchell could be collateral damage and Sammi is not willing to let that happen so he decides he needs to leave to protect Mitchell. But Mitchell would move through the gates of hell to find Sammi again.
Just as Mitchell finally finds him, so does Donavan’s goon. Now the question is will either of them make it out of the mess they find themselves in alive or will this be the end for one or both of them?
Like I said this was a good book but I felt it was lacking follow up on a few things. Such as Sammi’s true identity and what happened to his family? I was left questioning if he was just left in the cold by his parents or if he was taken? Also what ended up happening to Donavan once the police got him. Did he go to prison or not?
These things are what bothered me about this book. I did love the relationship between Sammi and Mitchell though so that made it a good book. I really hope the next book is more in a way of explaining more about sammi’s past.
