Corey and Johnny meet unexpectedly at age sixteen. When they met, it was as if their souls collided. Even distance could not separate their hearts. But a sniper’s bullet just might.
A threat hangs over Corey’s life: his father. Corey is heir to the Watterson Lumber fortune and his aunt left Corey all her money, a house, and her votes on the Board of Watterson Lumber. That gives Corey a majority vote and enrages his father.
Life’s most cunning enemies often share the same blood. Keeping each other safe may just submerge them both into an endless melody of Treacherous Pianos
A love story and a struggle for safety make Corey and Johnny’s story unforgettable.

This is one of those books that will completely suck you in, chew you up, and leave you wanting so much more. I can honestly say I did not want this book to end. It was amazingly sad, heartbreaking, hopeful, and so many other adjectives that I could continue listing but would just not do this book justice.

This is one of those books that while you are reading it you feel the emotions that are flowing off the pages. I felt the fear, the hope, the love, the hopelessness, the heartbreak, the beginnings of finally starting to feel happiness, and so much more.

Jacob Longe truly wrote an amzing story that honestly could not have been easy to write. It is rare that a book will suck you in like this one did and made it impossible to put down.i started reading this book earlier today and I am already finished with it. That says a lot considering it was almost 400 pages long.

This is a story that covers a span of years. It is not one that jumps around a whole lot so that is a good thing. The main characters Johnny and Corey definitely reached into my heart and snuggled their way death into it.

There is no one that is more perfect for each other then these two men are. They do not have an easy journey that is for certain but one thing that never waivers and constantly grows is the love they feel for each other.

This is definitely a book that needs to be read because it is extraordinary. My only wish is that their will be a follow up story on these to so that we, the readers, can find out what happens to Corey in the long run of things and if his father is ever made to pay for his horrible actions.

Hello, I am an avid reader of male/male books. I do not have a favorite genre when it comes to male/male books because I love all of them from romance, dark reads, paranormal, shifter, threesome, whatever I see that catches my eye at the time. I read books about rock stars, CEOs, military, cops, and just the original plain old good boy types of books. Basically when it comes to a book, I read whatever I am in the mood for at the time. So my tastes varies from day to day and sometimes even hour to hour.
