It was her special day… but his worst nightmare.
A rekindled romance wasn’t part of the plan.
Despite his American background, August O’Leary is the most sought-after wedding planner in London. Naturally, Libby and Edward come to him for a wedding the city will never forget. But Edward is an international businessman, so the details are left to Libby and her best friend—who happens to be the love of August’s life and the one who broke his heart eight years ago: Christopher Burke.
How’s August supposed to pull off the event of the year with Christopher distracting him and old feelings crashing the party uninvited?
Christopher has let money and status dictate his life, but no more. His failure to stand up to others’ expectations cost him his future with August—one he hoped would include marriage. Now he has to face August’s hurt and anger and prove he’s still the best man to make August happy.
This was a good story about making a huge mistake that cost you the one you love only to have fate step in later and being that same person back into your life again. Love is about giving second chances. But is ones heart able to give a third chance when history repeats itself?
August is a wedding planner and is damn good at his job. So when he has a client coming in for his assistance, the last thing he expects is for his client to turn up and have his ex in tow with her as her best friend and best man in the wedding. To say August was in shock at seeing Chris again is an understatement. Chris is just about the very last person he expected to turn up at one of his meetings and really August is not happy about it either because it brought back up all the past hurt and pain that was caused souls by Chris. But August is a professional and he will do his job even if it kills him.
Chris is determined to win August back. Even though he knows he is the reason their relationship ended and he lost the love of his life, Chris is determined to make it up to him and win him back. After August finally gives in to Chris’s persistence and goes out with him, the two men decide to give their relationship another go. Things are going great but when thenoast becomes the present once again, Chris may very well lose August again and this time forever.
This was a great read about learning from our mistakes and hoping that we will not make the same mistakes again. It is about second chances and about love being what is truly important. M.J. O’Shea has a way of making the books the books irresistible to read and make them amazing once you do. Another great book.
