Gavin Rossi is one sexy piece of Eye Candy wrapped in a tight body and sweet smile. With his goals on the horizon, he mounts a handsome stranger’s lap and rolls his hips for the tips he’s hoping will get him out of the desperate situation keeping his plans out of reach. The hot breath on his neck, the mesmerizing rhythm, the strong chest rising and falling beneath his hands make for a distraction he’s terrified to see play out. This is a dance. This is a tease. God, this is so much more.

When Dutch Williamson feels a set of perfectly sculpted thighs slipping over his lap, the last thing his liquor-hazed brain registers is this is my future. The sweet piece of Eye Candy grinding on his lap is going to cut him at the knees, and he knows it. Fierce protection grips his heart and his only hope is the passionate go-go boy will make this private dance last more than one night.

Who said dreams do not eventually come true? Well, that is how Gavin felt and he pretty much gave up on dreams a long time ago. Along with giving up on dreams he had all but given up on men and being able to trust them.

That is the thing about life though, even if you give up, life hasn’t and it has a way of throwing you curve balls when you least expect it too. That is what happened to Gavin when a customer of his at the place he worked at as a go-go dancer took a liking to him.

Gavin has strict standards that he goes by. Just because he is a go-go dancer and does lap dances does not mean he will go off with a customer. He has a strict no touching rule and even though there may be a time when he would like to break that rule, he doesn’t. That is how he felt when he meets Dutch one night. He feels a pull to Dutch but will not lower himself or his standards to do anything with him.

When Dutch meets Gavin he wants him immediately but he has a profound respect for Gavin when he stands his ground. ThT respect grows with each visit with seeing Gavin continually turn down offers.

One day when Dutch is about to visit the club again to see Gavin, he notices Gavin is leaving work and decides to follow him to make sure he gets home safely since it is not a safe area. What he sees is Gavin go into a home with a wild party going on and Dutch decides to take matters in his own hands and find out if his respect for Gavin is warranted or not.

When Dutch find s the conditions that Gavin is enduring and finds out the reasons why it breaks his heart and Dutch decides right then and there that’s gavin deserves so much more and he is going to be the one to give it too him.

It is not smooth sailing because both men have things to overcome but both men decide that overcoming them togther is what they both want so it begins.

This was a short story but it was a very good one. There references to attempted child abuse but none was described or happened. It is a heart breaking story with an amazing ending that shows “dreams can come true when you least expect it to happen. This was a wonderful read.

Hello, I am an avid reader of male/male books. I do not have a favorite genre when it comes to male/male books because I love all of them from romance, dark reads, paranormal, shifter, threesome, whatever I see that catches my eye at the time. I read books about rock stars, CEOs, military, cops, and just the original plain old good boy types of books. Basically when it comes to a book, I read whatever I am in the mood for at the time. So my tastes varies from day to day and sometimes even hour to hour.
