One night to find the man of his dreams in the least likely place…

Airman Tate Gibson thought going to a party at the local college with his friends would take his mind off of his troubles. He’ll head back to Korea in two days time—after the funeral of his baby sister. He’s always taken responsibility for her and he’s not ready to deal with her being gone. He wants a man to help him deal with his sadness and give him a reason to get through his deployment.

Raine crushed on his neighbor across the hallway, but once he spots the hunky airman his thoughts center on Tate. He wants to strip the handsome blue-eyed man down and lick him everywhere, but geeky guys like Raine never get the man. He’s stuck playing the perpetual wallflower.

Will one night tear them apart before things get hot or will it be enough to bring these two wounded souls together for a long-term engagement?

Reader Advisory: This book contains scenes of MM interaction, anal sex and masturbation.

Publisher’s Note: This book has previously been released as part of the Brothers in Arms anthology with Pride Publishing.

I remember reading this book in the anthology book called “Brothers in Arms”. I remember that this was an amazing read for a short story.

Airman Tate Gibeson is heartbroken and carrying the weight of feeling responsible for his sisters death. He blames himself because he feels like he should have been there to protect his sister but instead he was away with the military and not there to protect her from her boyfriend Aaronand the trouble that he is.

Tate needed a break from the mourning of his sister and his guilt so he decides to give his “friend’s” house party but he knew from the moment he stepped through the door it was a mistake.

Once he decides to leave he runs into Raine his “friend’s” next door neighbor. Raine thinks that Tate had been drugged or something but the truth is Tate is just upset because of his sister. Raine lends a listening hear and before both of them know it they are in bed togther. The chemistry between the two is off the charts and after spending the night togther the two decide they do not want to lose touch when Tate had to go back to where he was stationed.

The two men keep in touch and decide to pursue a relationship once Tate was back in town. They continue to get to know each other over long distance but right before Tate is due to come home something in Raine changes.

Raine has a secret he has been hiding from Tate and is worried about how he will take it.

This was really a good short story. It really left an impact on me to remember it so well from reading it previously. This was one of my favorite stories in the anthology. It is nice to read a book about something good coming from such a tragedy as The one in this book. Great read!!

Author

Hello, I am an avid reader of male/male books. I do not have a favorite genre when it comes to male/male books because I love all of them from romance, dark reads, paranormal, shifter, threesome, whatever I see that catches my eye at the time.

I read books about rock stars, CEOs, military, cops, and just the original plain old good boy types of books.

Basically when it comes to a book, I read whatever I am in the mood for at the time. So my tastes varies from day to day and sometimes even hour to hour.

Please comment! We'd love to hear from you.
