Now, you can have the books that introduced Victor Kalinski to the world in one reasonably priced boxed set! With over 350 Goodreads reviews and ratings combined, the romance of Vic Kalinski and Dan Arou is one that once read, will never be forgotten. In this three-book set, you’ll get to experience all the passion, sarcasm, hockey action, and romance that reviewers have called “Beautifully Written”, “Surprisingly Heartfelt”, and “Hot! Hot! Hot!”
“The writing in this is snappy and awesome, the story moves at a great pace and oh it’s HOT AS EVER-LOVING HELL. There’s romance that never veers into a too-sappy place, it’s FUNNY and full of great lines right and left, and so engaging that I couldn’t stop reading it. The ending is satisfying, with our characters not becoming perfect people but becoming better together than they are apart, and that’s just about as romantic as it gets.” Avon Gale – Author of the Scoring Chances series
Readers should be over 18 due to mature language and gay sexual situations. The set includes:
Two Man Advantage (Point Shot Trilogy #1)
Game Misconduct (Point Shot Trilogy #2)
Full Strength (Point Shot Trilogy #3)
I have to say that I just feel in love with this series. It is funny because when I first started reading this book I did not really like Vic.
I though Vic was obnoxious, loud, insensitive, egotistical, and an all around jerk. But the more I read the more he worked his way into my heart. Don’t get me wrong he is definitely all those things that I mentioned a minute ago but there is so much more to him that he does not let many see.
Vic does have a huge heart and even though he does not wear it on his sleeve like some do, when you are on his heart you are there to stay. He will go to the ends of the earth for those people, though there are not many, he cares about. Vic is not one to let many in his life because he fears being left and having his heartbroken but once someone is able to work there way into his heart, they are there for life.
That is what happens with Dan. Dan is the opposite of Vic. He is caring, he loves hockey and wants to help everyone on his team, even when he is rightfully upset with someone he has a hard time not giving them a second chance, he is all around good guy. So when Dan and Vic finally hook up, he is not willing to settle for the Vic everyone else sees. He is only willing to have the real Vic and not the one that pushes everyone and everything away.
Dan is such an amazing person that he even fights to forgive Vic for his mistakes with Heather. He accepts that the mistake cannot be changed especially since a baby is involved and even though jealousy seems to sneak up on him, he is unwilling to let it rule his life. He wants it all with Vic and Dan is willing to fight for it and accept Vic for who he is and what he is capable of giving.
These two men are so mixed matched it is unreal but at the same time they truly Complete the other one whole heartedly.
This series was truly an entertaining read. It could not be described as anything else because honestly you never know what Vic is going to do or say next. But at the same time there is some very series issues that are discussed and done so in a very appropriate way. V.L. Locey truly did an amazing job on this series. I look forward to reading more of V.L. Locey’s books in the future.
