Heart of the Wolf

What happens when a veterinarian ends up a patient in his own animal clinic?

Dr. Dae Anderson needs to lose the deadbeat boyfriend who is holding him back, but Jack is determined to hang on to Dae—even if he has to resort to violence.

Dae has worked hard to fit in among humans, and if his secret gets out, he’ll lose everything. His veterinary assistant, Sean, might be just the man to stand with Dae… against Jack and the world.

Courage of the Wolf

The most painful changes don’t involve the shape of the body, but of the heart….

Just as Dae and Sean are settling in to life as a couple, Dae is contacted by his brother, who still lives with his former pack and who exiled him for being gay.

If he refuses to return to Wyoming, a sociopathic alpha will slaughter Dae’s family one member at a time. And deep down, Dae knows he must confront his past before he can truly have a loving future with Sean. First, they have to stay alive.

First Edition of Heart of the Wolf published as Change of Heart by Torquere Press, 2007.

First Edition of Courage of the Wolf published as Change in Attitude by Torquere Press, 2011.

Running with the moon is actually two books combined into one big book. The first book is Heart of the Wolf.

In Heart of the Wolf, this is where we get to meet our two main characters for both books. Dae is a wolf shifter and a veterinarian and Sean is his assistant vet. They have worked together for four years now. Dae has no clue that Sean has been in love with him for almost all four of those years. Dae has been too wrapped up in being treated badly by his on again and off again cheating ex Jack.

This time it really looks like Jack may be out of Dae’s life for good because he has been gone now for six months. Even still Sean has not let on how he feels about Dae in fear of being rejected by him.

Dae has his own secret that he has not let anyone in on, he is a wolf shifter. He keeps this too himself and does everything he can to stay what he feels in his heart is a respectable vet. He has done a good job of keeping his secret all this time o at least he had until he was preoccupied and was hit by a truck in wolf form.

Now Dae finds himself as a patient in wolf form in his own practice and Sean is taking care of him. Now Darhas to decide what to do. Does he let Sean in on his secret or does he try to get out and away without Sean ever finding out. The decision is pretty much taken out of his hands when Fate steps in and makes the decision for him. Not only does he share his secret with Sean butSean let’s him in on his own secret that can and will change things between these too forever. But there is so much more lurking around the corner for these two and if they are not careful fate may take them away from one another before they can figure out where their relationship may be heading.

The second book in this bundle is Courage of the Wolf. This is a continuation of book one and takes Dae to the one place he thought he would never go again and that is back to the pack land where he was born to the family that pushed him away.

This book is an eye opening dangerous situation that Dae must face in order to protect those that are innocent and those that he believed to have betrayed him.

This book is a book that has not only grief attached to it but also freedom, forgiveness, and new beginnings.

As far as both of these stories goes, they were an amazing read. There was action and suspense. There was love and sadness. And last but not least there was ending last and beginnings. This book has a little bit of everything to capture a readers attention and keep it. It truly was an incredible read.

Hello, I am an avid reader of male/male books. I do not have a favorite genre when it comes to male/male books because I love all of them from romance, dark reads, paranormal, shifter, threesome, whatever I see that catches my eye at the time. I read books about rock stars, CEOs, military, cops, and just the original plain old good boy types of books. Basically when it comes to a book, I read whatever I am in the mood for at the time. So my tastes varies from day to day and sometimes even hour to hour.
