Cursed by the god who shares his name, Seti was an Egyptian king who lost everything; his name, his kingdom, even the man he loved more than anything in the world. For centuries he’s waited in a dusty, forgotten sarcophagus, until Logan comes along. Logan is a graduate student who stumbles on Seti in the basement of a museum and accidentally awakens him. Logan figures any way he looks at it, a missing mummy is going to be bad for his career, so he takes Seti with him until he can decide what to do. He doesn’t want to be accused to theft, but who’s going to believe in a mummy coming back to life? Seti and Logan have a lot more to worry about than the modern day police. There’s a group of scientists that want Seti for more than decoration and a vengeful god with an agenda to get Seti gone once and for all. Logan has to deal with all of that, but his biggest problem might just be Seti himself, who’s trying hard to get into Logan’s pants, and his heart.

I really enjoyed this book. At first I was skeptical about liking this book but I have to admit I really enjoyed this read.

It was adventurous and constantly had something new popping up in the form of a new twist. This book is not a realistic read but it was definitely enjoyable.

SETI being an Egyptian King from five thousand years ago and being cursed is what steers this story. But really that is just the beginning of this book. It quickly turns in to a read that you do not want to put down for fear of missing something.

When Logan accidentally lifts the five thousand year curse on SETI, he is more gen freaking out. He just knows that he is going to be in major trouble but he just does not know how much trouble is about to head his and Seti’s way.

This book was so good. I was pleasantly surprised with how much I enjoyed his book. SETI and Logan could not have been more of a perfect match. Kiernan Kelly did a great job on this book and I look forward to more books by this author in the future.

Hello, I am an avid reader of male/male books. I do not have a favorite genre when it comes to male/male books because I love all of them from romance, dark reads, paranormal, shifter, threesome, whatever I see that catches my eye at the time.

I read books about rock stars, CEOs, military, cops, and just the original plain old good boy types of books.

Basically when it comes to a book, I read whatever I am in the mood for at the time. So my tastes varies from day to day and sometimes even hour to hour.

  • Hmmm … I read the 1st edition of this one. I definitely loved it. Do you happen to know if there are changes to the original book??

      • Nah that’s okay … from my experience with the re-publishing of this particular publisher, nothing changed much 🙂 Thanks for the review
