Alex Banez is a runner for a Los Angeles film set. When he has a chance encounter with executive producer Atwell Richards, he finds himself falling fast and hard. Atwell is rich, powerful, gorgeous, and everything Alex never thought he would have. But Atwell also has a dark side and an inflexible need for control that threatens to suffocate everyone around him.

Alex has to figure out if he can love Atwell without losing himself.

I liked this book and I can definitely see why this book was named “Runner” but I do not believe that it was for the obvious reasons. My take is that the name came from somewhere else.

Alex has had an extremely rough life. He has turned his life around and is now working in the industry that he wants a career in. But when he meets the new director and he mistakes him for someone else, the sparks between them immediately fly.

The thing is Atwell is different from anyone he has ever known and the things Atwell wants is not something that Alex has ever done before. But it is not only that but it also how intense Atwell is.

When things finally start to come together someone from Alex’s troubled past comes back into the picture and Atwell may not be able to handle it.

Can these two work together to get Alessandro’s trouble under control and help him help him self? Or will it tear them apart in the end?

This was a good book but I do hope that there will be another book in the future because the ending in my opinion just did not match up to the rest of the book. I felt like it was missing something and I am hoping that it is because there will be another book in the future.

Advanced Review Copy

Galley copy of Runner provided by NineStar Press in exchange of an honest review.

Hello, I am an avid reader of male/male books. I do not have a favorite genre when it comes to male/male books because I love all of them from romance, dark reads, paranormal, shifter, threesome, whatever I see that catches my eye at the time.

I read books about rock stars, CEOs, military, cops, and just the original plain old good boy types of books.

Basically when it comes to a book, I read whatever I am in the mood for at the time. So my tastes varies from day to day and sometimes even hour to hour.

Please comment! We'd love to hear from you.
