August Vallory had it all. A modeling career, a man he loved, and the extended family he’d acquired in the business. Then the world he knew was torn away when the plane he was on crashed en route to a photo shoot.
Lost in the Alaskan wilderness, August doesn’t stand a chance.
No sane man would choose to live in the Alaskan bush unless he had something to hide. And Keegan Brooks has secrets darker than night, more dangerous than wolves, more brutal than an Alaskan winter.
Every day was a fight for his life until he stumbled upon a downed plane with a lone survivor. Now it’s no longer just Keegan’s life teetering on the edge of survival.
It’s his heart.
Wow, just wow! I am so tired now, but it is so worth it. Yeah, so you would be right to assume that I could not put this book down. This story not only kept my attention but it kept me on the edge of my seat. It is definitely one of my favs for 2017, and I give it ALL THE STARS!!!!!!!!!!!!
What did I
like love about this book? Everything! The chemistry between the two main characters, their internal struggle, their pain, their love for one another and especially the not knowing what was going to happen.
This story is wonderfully done. I am in awe of both men and everything they endured and would sacrifice for one another. This is a must read book. Even thought it is a little over 300 pages, time passes without any hardship. The author seriously rocked this story!
Be warned this story will pull you in and play with your emotions. However, I promise it is worth it. For those of you that have hit a plateau in reading; feeling like you will never get out of that funk. Well, I say read this and it will give you hope; that there are books out there that go above and beyond.
Don’t get me wrong, there were some proofing errors. However, even with that, this book is still five-star worthy! I happened upon this book because it popped up on my Amazon page, so I KU’d it. Yeah, it’s mine now 🙂
