I’ve had a psychotic episode.
It was the only sensible conclusion for the clouded memories, his battered body and the lost week of time. Demons aren’t real. They don’t run adult shops or hunt students for their lust in Southern England. Just because your housemate has pink hair, it didn’t make her a fae in league with the devil, or you a one in a trillion, ‘chosen one’.
But it had felt so damn good to be important and desired, even if it was all in his head.
Return to the swirling, beautifully passionate madness, or check into a psychiatric facility? Whichever way he steps life as he knows it, is over.
Stranded between two ‘no return’ options, with the sun and the temperature going down, a smiling stranger gives him a temporary third choice. Dinner, a club, a sofa, and not thinking about it for a while. What could be the harm in that?
Demons and fae are not the only beings who stalk the troubled and unwary.
2nd part of Incubus, an m/m novella series. Graphic material with plenty of angst. NOT a standalone.
This series just really sucks you in and leaves you wanting to know what is going to happen next. This is an erotic read but has a storyline behind it that will leave you wondering what is next.
Poor Finn, I really feel bad for this guy. It is like life just keeps throwing punches at him and it is a wonder that he has not been knocked out by it yet. If things keep going the way they are he just might be. First he has a boyfriend that was not honest with him and rhen he gets hooked up with an incubus that only wants him because he is basically a vessel for him.
I really want to like Ezra but I am still on the fence about him. On one hand I want to believe that he truly cares about Finn but on the other I keep wondering if everything he does and says to Finn is for his own selfish desire. Then their is the new player Milo in the mix that is a wolf shifter who I believe in his own way does care about Finn but then again I am not truly sure about that either.
Like I said Finn keeps taking all the punches that life has thrown at him but I am not sure how much more he can take. And I have a feeling all hell is going to break lose in the next book. Especially if the way this one ended is any indication of how the next one is going to go,
I can’t wait to see what Emma Jaye has up her sleeve for the next book.
