Everything’s bigger in Texas, including weddings. And misunderstandings.
Colorado wedding planner Mason O’Reilly lands a major contract: a two-hundred-guest wedding at the Leanin’ N Ranch, where his friends Ford and Stoney are working to provide a safe space for GLBT events. The Wright/Preston ceremony is a destination wedding, and as the grooms are from Texas, everything is done over the phone and email. There’s no way that could lead to trouble, right?
Oil tycoon Noah Wright isn’t happy about the impending disaster, but he admires Mason’s quick thinking and grace under pressure. And that’s not all he likes about the out-and-proud wedding planner. Even though Mason’s interested in Noah, his Mr. Right can’t possibly be a rancher from Dallas.
This is a sweet love story of the one that plans the weddings finally getting to be the one that finds his Mr Wright.
Mason is about to plan the biggest event that he has ever been in charge of. It is a wedding for 250 guests. Mason has everything set for the two groom’s big day. Or so he thinks. Every detail is ironed out and everything is set when the groom’s brother shows up to make sure the big day will be perfect for Sammy and Doug.
There is one huge problem Noah found with the wedding though. And it is something that can make the whole day go horribly. Noah realizes there has been a huge misunderstanding and Mason has planned a wedding for two men, not his baby sister Sammy and her groom Doug. To say that Mason is now stressed beyond what he thought he could capably be, is putting it mildly.
Mason has gone into wedding planning overload trying to correct the mistake that has happened before the bride and groom arrive and figure out a mistake has been made. And the fact that Noah is putting on the extra pressure is not helping in the least.
By some miracle Mason is able to pull it off and correct everything in time for the bride and groom to arrive and no one but those involved know what a huge mistake could have happened. Somewhere along the way Mason has also started to look at the grumpy Noah in different light.
Not only has Mason started to notice Noah but Noah has started to notice Mason also. Once the wedding is over Noah is planning to make his move and see where the chips may fall with Mason.
Can two men who come from two completely different backgrounds find a common ground with one another and more importantly maybe find their Mr. Wright along the way also?
This was a really sweet read about to people finding one another and then going to whatever lengths necessary to find their happily ever after also. I really enjoyed this book. It was a great read. B.A. Tortuga did an incredible job on this sweet romance.
