THIRDS agent Dexter J. Daley can’t wait to marry his fiancé, Team Leader Sloane Brodie, but first he’s looking forward to celebrating his bachelor party—which he intends to be a shenanigans-free evening of getting his groove on with family and friends.
Of course events don’t work out as planned, but for Dex that’s nothing new. One thing is for sure, dodging drug dealers and hired thugs amid booze, dancing—and even a bear costume—will guarantee it’s a night Dex will never forget. Now he just needs to survive all the fun.
Enjoy this bonus story from the THIRDS universe. These events occur between Darkest Hour Before Dawn and Tried & True in the series timeline. While reading this story would enhance your experience of the THIRDS series, it is not necessary to read before Tried & True.
This series just keeps getting better and better. This has always been a series that once I start a book I cannot put it down until I am finished. Even if it is a short story about the Thirds I still want to be able to read it as soon as I get it and do not want to quit reading it until I am done with it.
Charlie Cochet is one of my most favorite authors. She has this amazing way of writing a book and it somehow being even better then the last. Especially when it comes to The Thirds series. Each book is a continuation of the last book and with each new book comes a whole new set of problems that Delta Destructive has to face.
Who knew that Dex’s bachelor party would be the same. Lol. Well we are taking about Dex here so if something did not happen then it would truly be a miracle. Dex has a way of attracting problems but the good thing is his friends/family is always there to back him up and in some instances reign him in.
The one who has the most influence over Dex’s problem attraction issue is Sloane but go figure Dex wants a traditional bachelor party without his partner present. So no Sloane means major problems for Dex. But Dex is stronger and more capable of handling himself now then he ever has been before. The only one that Dex really needs to worry about is Wolf and Wolf is not going to go easy on Dex if the time comes.
Can Dex finally make it through a night without problems arising? Or if he cannot can he at least not attract to much attention so he will not get in trouble once again with Sloane? Only time will tell and with Dex anything is possible.
I truly cannot wait for Tried and True to come out because like always I know that it is going to be better then the last. I am also sure that Charlie has more surprises in store for her readers. I cannot wait to find out exactly what they are.
