Cory’s had a rough year struggling with severe depression. He’s desperate to rebuild his shattered life and break away from his demanding family. When his therapist encourages him to do something for himself, he knows exactly what he needs. I want to see Asher again. The best friend Corey ever had who, at fifteen, held Cory’s heart in his hands without knowing it.

Asher’s had a troubled relationship with his father since he came out. Now that Pops is sick, he’s fighting for his right to help or even find out about his father’s health. Then there’s the complication of an ex-boyfriend unwilling to let go.

When Cory and Asher meet again after sixteen years, Cory’s feelings are as strong as ever. But does Asher feel the same?

What a fabulous read about finding what is most important in the world. Family and love!!!

This was an incredible read. It is a book about a boy named Cory. Cory has not had an easy run of things. He has been fighting depression for a while now. His therapist suggested that he figure out what the one thing that would truly make him happy was and then go for it. That is exactly what Vory has done. He went back to the town that he grew up in and found the one person that meant the most to him, Asher.

Asher has never given up hope thy one day he may find the boy that he lost, Cory. He has never forgotten him not r has he stopped loving him even though he never had the chance to tell him before he left town when they was young.

Now both men have a chance to finally admit to the feelings that they had towards one another and see where things can and will go. The only issues standing in their way is both of their parents. There is a fix for Asher’s father but as far as Cory’s family goes they will never accept their relationship.

So the question is, do you stick with the family that will never approve or go for the family that is family by choice?

This was an incredible read and I enjoyed it immensely. It is inspiring in some ways and I think others will feel the same way also. I cannot wait for other books in the future by Nell Iris. This one was a clenched on wanting to read more by this author.

Hello, I am an avid reader of male/male books. I do not have a favorite genre when it comes to male/male books because I love all of them from romance, dark reads, paranormal, shifter, threesome, whatever I see that catches my eye at the time. I read books about rock stars, CEOs, military, cops, and just the original plain old good boy types of books. Basically when it comes to a book, I read whatever I am in the mood for at the time. So my tastes varies from day to day and sometimes even hour to hour.
