Henry Walker is the only son of a wealthy businessman – and heir to a vast company. It is his birthright and destiny. But Henry only truly desires the one thing he cannot have…time to spend with his lover, Archie Banks. Archie is his childhood friend turned driver, bodyguard and dirty little secret. Circumstances make it difficult for them to sneak moments together – something that will become impossible once Archie moves on after he graduates from college.

They fear the uncertain future, and what will become of their blossoming feelings – but nothing prepares them for the danger and disaster about to overwhelm their lives. A shocking kidnapping leads to tragedy and suddenly Henry and Archie are thrust into a dramatic fight against an unknown enemy. They must fight not only be together, but to also save the company Henry has been groomed to run his entire life.

This is one of those books that leaves you torn and disgusted at the bad guy in the end. It leaves you an emotional mess when events take place and makes you mad on the main characters behalf.

This book is not only a romance but it is also a mystery. So there is a little of both worlds in this read.

Henry is the son of a powerful CEO. He has always done everything he can think of to make his dad proud of him but most of the time he feels like he has not succeeded L. He does hide the fact that his best friend and employee is his lover from his father and everyone else for that matter but that is because he does not think his father would approve.

When events happen, namely Henry and his father, being kidnaped everything changes from this point on. Someone in Henry’s trusted circle is out to get him and succeeded in doing so to his father. Henry barely has to breath and morn the loss of his father when things start to happen around him to put his life in danger and an emotional twister.

Archie (Henry’s best friend, employee, and lover) is not about to let someone take away the man he is in love with but scared to admit his feelings too. He would rather put himself in danger then let something happen to Henry. As the danger escalates both men realize it is time to come clean with how they feel about one another or they may never get the chance too.

This book was an emotional read but it was an incredible read. It is one that grabs your attention and does not let it go till the very end. And the shocker of who is behind everything will blow you away.

Hello, I am an avid reader of male/male books. I do not have a favorite genre when it comes to male/male books because I love all of them from romance, dark reads, paranormal, shifter, threesome, whatever I see that catches my eye at the time. I read books about rock stars, CEOs, military, cops, and just the original plain old good boy types of books. Basically when it comes to a book, I read whatever I am in the mood for at the time. So my tastes varies from day to day and sometimes even hour to hour.
