Is Baltimore police detective Liam Van Zandt living in The Twilight Zone? It sure looks that way. The victims in the murders he’s investigating seem to have been crushed by a cursed statue.

In the middle of his investigation Liam is fighting his attraction to the mysterious Dr. Bartek Szala, a police consultant and amateur folklorist. With everything coming to a head and his Captain breathing down his neck, Liam has been denying his attraction to Bartek. But when they are thrust into a supernatural world of witches, vampires and werewolves they have to join forces or they won’t survive.

Will Liam and Bartek come out alive or will they succumb to the danger that surrounds the Legend of Black Aggie?

CONTENT WARNING: shifter knotting, vampires and one confused police detective who still can’t figure out this supernatural stuff. Second book in The Werewolves of Baltimore series. While it would help to read the first book, this is a stand alone novella. No cliffhanger, HEA guaranteed.

This is the first book in this series that I have read. It was an amazing book and I believe that I am going to enjoy this series tremendously. There was mystery. There was danger. There are vampires and shifters. And then there was the biggest twist that I did not see coming.

Liam is a detective and he lands a case that is beyond disturbing. He believes in paranormal, I mean how could he not when his best friend is a werewolf? But to have a ghost actually murdering people, that is just beyond his knowledge and grasp. That is why he seeks help with Bartek.

Bartek is a vampire who has lived many years. So he knows many of the legends including the one that Liam is now investigating. The thing is, Liam does not know as of yet that Bartek is a vampire.

As the case heats up, Bartek and Liam grow closer. But Bartek has not revealed who he is as of yet and the truth comes out in the most inconvenient time.

Can two men with so much strangeness between them along with so much danger and even the unknown danger that is still lurking, can they navigate the waters together or will something or someone pull them apart before they ever truly get started?

This was such an incredible read. It sucks you in and keeps you there until the very end. I truly enjoyed this book and I look forward to the next book in this series when it comes out.

Hello, I am an avid reader of male/male books. I do not have a favorite genre when it comes to male/male books because I love all of them from romance, dark reads, paranormal, shifter, threesome, whatever I see that catches my eye at the time. I read books about rock stars, CEOs, military, cops, and just the original plain old good boy types of books. Basically when it comes to a book, I read whatever I am in the mood for at the time. So my tastes varies from day to day and sometimes even hour to hour.
