Dinner, drinks, and dancing sounds like a fun night out, but not to Phil. His ideal way to spend a Friday evening is on the couch with his dog and some take out. When he finds himself away from home on his first night out in months, he gets more than he bargained for in the attention of a handsome stranger. He doesn’t usually entertain these kinds of pickups, but when he winds up saying yes instead of his usual no, he ends up with more than the guy’s phone number.

Breaking a long hiatus with a night on the town was what Shige thought he needed, but he wound up with so much more. He’s attracted to the one guy in the club who looked like he doesn’t want to be there, he can’t leave him alone. He wants more from their encounter than what he usually gets. But will fate, and his dangerous secret, let someone like him, have what even he won’t admit he craves?

I enjoyed this read but I have to say that I really hope that there will be another one because if not then I will be disappointed in the way this one ended. It ended with so many unanswered questions and with a sense of not being complete for me. So I really hope that there will be another one.

Phil is about to start a two month vacation. He is forever into this vacation because he does not take time off from work nor does he use his vacation so he has two months worth built up that he has no choice but to take. Even though he is not looking forward to it, he is going to do his best to relax and enjoy it. Little does he know that a night out with his best friend is about to change not only Phil and the way he views things but also it will change him in ways he never thought he was capable.

On his night out he meets a mysterious man named Shinge. Immediately he is attracted to him but as they start to leave together his ex makes an appearance and ruins it for him. But nonetheless Shinge decides they should try again the next night.

Things are going great between them when something again spoils their fun together. Shinge is a strange man but Phil cannot help the attraction he feels to him so they try one last time and this is when things change in a way that neither seen coming. Someone is out for Shinge and they believe in order to get to him they need to go through Phil to get to him. So Shinge decides that he needs to protect Phil along with the secrets that Shinge has.

What will happen between these two as the danger increases? Will these two end up together or will it just be a passing thing between them and once the danger passes Phil will go back to his normal life?

This was a very interesting read and I enjoyed it immensely that is until I got to the end. I really hope that this is just the first book in what I hope will be a series because if not then I am left with a lot of unanswered questions and I hate when a book leaves me feeling like it is not complete. Other than that it was a really good read.

Advanced Review Copy

Galley copy of Nasu provided by Jet Lupin in exchange of an honest review.

Hello, I am an avid reader of male/male books. I do not have a favorite genre when it comes to male/male books because I love all of them from romance, dark reads, paranormal, shifter, threesome, whatever I see that catches my eye at the time.

I read books about rock stars, CEOs, military, cops, and just the original plain old good boy types of books.

Basically when it comes to a book, I read whatever I am in the mood for at the time. So my tastes varies from day to day and sometimes even hour to hour.

Please comment! We'd love to hear from you.
