Silas stole Ezra’s future, freedom, and spirit with soft words and sympathy. Fabian forged him into a soulless demonic toy who considered humans nothing but prey.
It had taken a century, plus the sweet trust and love of a human, to prove there was more to life than existing.
The supernatural council gave him an ultimatum. Spend another year in Fabian’s cellar or give evidence by experiencing that hellish decade again, via magic?
A day to win his freedom, to prove Fabian’s guilt and make the vampire suffer as he had done. A day to damn Silas.
Can Ezra survive the vampires again, condemn his first love for the sake of his second?
4th part of Incubus, an m/m novella series. Graphic material with non-consent themes. NOT a standalone.
Emma Jaye continues to blow me away with this series. This book thus far is the most emotional of all the rest and I have to say that Emma managed to change how I felt about a certain character. I have truly questioned Ezra and the way he was with Finn in the past books, but this book definitely made me reconsider my opinion of Ezra in a major way.
In this book we get an in depth look into Ezra and the past that he was forced to lead with Fabian. I am not going to give any details because if I do then it will surely ruin this book for others but I will say this, I now understand why Ezra felt the way that he did about humans and why he treated Finn the way that he did.
Fabian is about to face the wrath of the council in this book but I can honestly say that Fabian is not a good person and that will come to light in this book as well as more information on Silias. I am still on the fence on what I feel about Silias and his addiction to Ezra. I am not sure how this is all going to play out but I do know that Finn and Ezra have both unwilling and unknowingly have a following in Jericho, Milo, Pixie, Gethin, Glyn, and Emmett. They have each chosen to basically become a coven with Ezra and Finn and are willing do step in and protect both of them. The question is in my opinion, what is going to happen to Fabian for starters? But also what is Silias’ role in all this going to be in the end? Can Ezra and Finn and this group of misfits find a way to make a new life together?
Those are all questions I am hoping to get answers to in the next book and so much more. I honestly cannot wait for he next book in this series which is also the last book as well. I can only imagine just how good it is going to be.
