When his lost cat is returned by college student Ben Stacks, east coast businessman Harrison Reid can’t deny the obvious sparks between them. It only makes sense to meet again, and soon, to strike up a relationship.

But Reid has skeletons in his past, ones that haunt him as he tries to start fresh with Ben. Reid is determined not to let that old life get in the way of this new romance, especially with how strongly Ben is falling for him.

How long can he hide the truth though, especially when old acquaintances come to call and expose him to the man he’s come to love? Standing up to them is about far more than closing old doors. For Reid, it only exposes how much he’s terrified of a happy ever after. But he must act quickly, because Ben will not accept a man who can’t be truly free to live the life of his dreams.

This was a pretty interesting read but I rated it a three because I felt that a very big part of this book was left out. As far as the name goes I am not sure that Blue is an appropriate name for it. I think RED would have been better since the story is more about Red then Blue.

Sometimes fate has a funny way of stepping in to someone’s life even when they do not realize that fate is doing so. This is what happened to Reid. Reid was so upset about losing his cat that it was just making him sick. Well fate was about to step in and throw one heck of a curve ball at Reid.

Ben found a cat and the cat is well taken care of from the looks of it. Luckily enough Ben is able to find the cat’s owner who turns out to be Reid. When Ben returns the cat, sparks fly between the two but nothing comes of it really.

After hanging out a couple of times and then not talking for a while Reid and Ben finally decide to make a try at a relationship together. Though there is an age difference between the two things seem to be working out.

The only problem is Reid has some things in his past that he does not want Ben or anyone to find out about. A man named Blie being one of them. But like with most secrets, they find their way to the forefront and threaten to destroy what these two have started to build.

Can Reid and Ben get over the issues that are coming between them or is their relationship at a stand still?

This was a good read but I will be honest, with this book being named Blue, I expected there to be more of a storyline involving Blue but in all honesty it was only mentioned in a short but passing bit of the story so for that I did not rate this book more then a three. I think that if a story is going based off a certain aspect of a storyline then it should at least have more in depth than this book did. Other than that I did like this book.

Hello, I am an avid reader of male/male books. I do not have a favorite genre when it comes to male/male books because I love all of them from romance, dark reads, paranormal, shifter, threesome, whatever I see that catches my eye at the time.

I read books about rock stars, CEOs, military, cops, and just the original plain old good boy types of books.

Basically when it comes to a book, I read whatever I am in the mood for at the time. So my tastes varies from day to day and sometimes even hour to hour.

Please comment! We'd love to hear from you.
