A friends-to-lovers novella that came from Out of the Shadows, because Nate and Dylan needed a story….

Nate and Dylan have been pals for a long time. So what if their friends think they’ve got a little bromance going? Doesn’t mean there’s anything more to it than that, right? And even if there is, Nate and Dylan are totally oblivious….

Until the night they share a drunken kiss—and everything changes.

I really enjoyed this book of two best friends from children to adults finally realizing what everyone around them already knew, that there is much more than just friendship between them.

Dylan and Nate have been best friends since they was kids. They do everything together including going on double dates with other women together. Nate and Dylan rely on one another. When something good or bad happens it is the other one they turn too. When they hang out together they are right next to one another completing each other’s sentences. They know each other better then anyone else in the world.

The thing is one night after everyone decides to do other things, Nate and Dylan end up back at the apartment together watching movies and drinking. When they decide to watch something else and the movie choice is left up to Dylan, Dylan decides to go for Nate’s porn. Especially when he sees one that catches his eye and happens to go with some thoughts that he has been having in secret as it turns out.

Nate is skeptical at first until some truths come out between them that the other did not know. And even more surprising for both Nate and Dylan is the fact one minute they are both on one end of the couch pleasuring themselves and the next they are kissing each other. How did this happen? What does the other feel about it once it is said and done?

Can two friends that cross the line to something more figure things out together or have they ruined their friendship forever?

I really enjoyed this read. It is one of those books that is best described as friends to lovers. It was not a long read but it was definitely a good read. I really enjoyed this read. Look forward to more books by K.C. Wells in the future.

Hello, I am an avid reader of male/male books. I do not have a favorite genre when it comes to male/male books because I love all of them from romance, dark reads, paranormal, shifter, threesome, whatever I see that catches my eye at the time. I read books about rock stars, CEOs, military, cops, and just the original plain old good boy types of books. Basically when it comes to a book, I read whatever I am in the mood for at the time. So my tastes varies from day to day and sometimes even hour to hour.
