Deep in the Egyptian sands lurks the lost pyramid of an ancient Egyptian pharaoh, known throughout history for his bountiful lusts but lost to the mists of time. Or is it? Because who else would unearth the tomb but Jonathan Woodcock, infamous up-and-coming monster shagger!
Witness Jonathan’s rump-pounding adventures as he delves deep into the darkest places, wrestles with the tight restrictive bindings of the mummy, and comes face-to-crotch with the preternatural charms of an ancestral deity of carnal knowledge. Will Jonathan ever be able to overcome THE CURSE OF THE MUMMY’S WANG? (No, he won’t, he’ll end up having a lot of sex with it!)
This tale continues the homeward journey of our eponymous hero. Taking employment on a dig site, there is ample opportunity for him to become involved in sexual antics, particularly where it is used to drain the power. The continuing use of humour to lighten the story is well done. This story is more coherent than the last, with more effective characterisation. There is even a little twist in the tail.
Sex is once again used as a form of power in the hands of the monster or pleasure where it can be grabbed. There are no romantic entanglements; as such sex is largely a mechanism of the plot.
As a short story, the plot is quite fast paced. There is no need for background and so this is presented as another scene within the on-going series.
The story ends with the hero having resolved the case and the mummy put to rest again. He can now continue his journey homewards, but with the putative bad guy having escaped it is unclear if he will appear again. This remains a pleasant lightweight series.
