Hi, my name is Trevor. I’m a wolf shifter.
I say that like I know what I’m talking about. I don’t. I was simply running off a ton of steam one day when I was around eleven and bam! Okay, not quite that easy or fast but it happened when I was young and stupid. I’m also gay. I say that like I know what I’m talking about with that too. I simply don’t.
I’m grown up now and living in the big city which has me too busy to much care about either one of those things. I get out and run my wolf when I can, trying like hell to stay out of the local pack’s territories. Belonging to a “family” just sounds like too much work, and honestly I don’t have time for such things. Besides, I was told when I was young the color of my wolf was all wrong. Too silver…or something. Metallic. I kinda thought it looked cool in the full moon. “Pack Alpha would kill ya soon as look at ya.” My grandpa used to say. Course he wasn’t my real grandpa. Just an old man who lived down the street, but he was a shifter too and I thought he knew it all. He probably knew diddly either, but a guy can’t be too careful. And romance? Way off the radar.
Only now someone has started killing wolves. Started leaving broken bodies lined up in a nice little row next to the high school in my home town and it’s got me to thinking. If a shifter is killed in his or her wolf state, do they stay that way? Were these dead wolves like me? The hell of it all is this: being a shifter isn’t common knowledge. It bothers me enough that now I want to find out more. See if there’s anything I can do. Kind of like a super hero.
Oh yeah. Probably forgot to tell you this too. I can turn invisible.
Yep, Ghost Wolf to the rescue.
Oh wow, talk about a book that just captures your attention and when you think it is about to come to an end something else happens and has you captured all over again. This is definitely one of those books that is action packed. It has elements of danger to it. There is mystery. And most of all there is love. Hurri Cosmo definitely has a book that is going to blow its readers away. I know I was.
Trevor has no idea what is happening to him that faithful day when he was still just a boy and shifts into a wolf for the first time. All he did know is that he felt free and he enjoyed it. But he also knew he could not say anything to anyone, especially his mom. By accident he found out that his neighbor, who he ended up thinking of as his grandfather, was also a shifter so he was able to teach Trevor some things about shifters, packs, and some of the ways that lone shifters are treated.
When Trevor’s grandfather passed away he left a very special gift for Trevor. At the time when Trevor opened the gift for the first time he did not understand the significance of the rings that he was left. What he did know is one of the rings scared him whereas the other felt as if it was made for him. The significance behind he ring did not reveal itself until Trevor found himself in danger from a bully from school and from that moment on Trevor knew that there was definitely something special about the ring and the less anyone knew about it the better.
Skip ahead years later and Trevor is in college and working part time to pay his bills. This is when something amazing happens for him, he meets his fated mate. Ryan is blown away about finally meeting his fated mate and the fact that they met when they did is definitely fate since Ryan was about to mate with someone else. Ryan have given up hope on meeting the one that the fates had made for him but when he meets Trevor he knows that nothing will stop him from being with him.
Or will it? There is danger just around the corner and if they do not watch it one or both may not survive it long enough to make their mating official. Can Ryan and Trevor overcome all the obstacles standing in their way or will fate step in and stop their mating from happening after all?
This is such an incredible read. I could not put it down. I really hope that Hurri will write another book about these people. Because I would really love to read a book about Keith. He was such a huge part of this book and I would really loved to read a book where he gets his story as well. This was a truly incredible read.
