Gareth’s heart is set on Cam, but Cam’s heart broke a long time ago.

As alpha of the Regent’s Park Pack, Cam’s focus is always centred on its members—his personal life pushed aside after the death of his wife. Now that his pack has merged with the Primrose Hill shifters, he can’t afford any distractions.

Gareth’s been in love with his alpha for years, but his position as beta complicates matters. Added to the fact Cam still mourns his late wife, Gareth knows his feelings will never be reciprocated, so he buries them deep.

With the two packs already struggling to unite under one alpha, they get a surprise addition—one who causes more tension within the ranks. Under such strain, long-kept secrets are forced into the open. Gareth and Cam must deal with the aftermath, while also keeping the pack’s best interests at heart.

I have read every book in this series thus far and I just love this series. Annabelle has a way about writing a book that brings not only danger, but mystery, romance, and love together to make an incredible read. This book was no less different in those aspects than the last books in this series were. I truly love this series and will continue to read them as they come out. I look forward to each new release because I know that it is going to be just as good, if not better than the last book in this series.

Cam is the Alpha of Regent’s Park Pack but now he has an even bigger responsibility because now his pack is joined up with P-Pack to make one huge pack. It was not a joining of want but more out of necessity because P-Pack’s Alpha was stripped of his Alpha status and placed in prison along with his beta at the time. So now Cam has to figure out how to intermingle both packs without letting anyone feel less important or left out in the cold. Add to that, another pack that helped Cam out and took in a rogue Wolf when Cam needed them to is now asking for the same favor in return of Cam.

Gareth has stood by Cam for as long as he can remember as his beta and helped him through all the tough times that Cam has been through. Even losing his wife Mia. Through all of this Gareth has been able to hide the fact that he is in love with Cam from him and everyone else. But now that a new person is joining the pack from another neighboring pack Gareth is having a hard time hiding how he feels. He is jealous because the woman looks just like Cam’s late wife, Mia, and she acts so much like her that it is hard for Gareth to hide his reaction or his jealousy anymore.

What could be the possible turn out for Gareth if Cam knows how he feels? Gareth knows his feelings could never be reciprocated. Will Cam end up with Rachael, the newest member of the pack? Or can the unthinkable happen and Cam choose to see how things could go with Gareth? How will the new, bigger pack get along now that they are no longer at one another’s throats?

This was a very exciting read and I cannot wait for the next book in this series to come out. Annabelle has an incredible way of sucking in the readers and not letting them go even when the book is finished. She leaves the reader waiting in anticipation for the next book to come out. This is definitely a book I would highly recommend to others.

Hello, I am an avid reader of male/male books. I do not have a favorite genre when it comes to male/male books because I love all of them from romance, dark reads, paranormal, shifter, threesome, whatever I see that catches my eye at the time. I read books about rock stars, CEOs, military, cops, and just the original plain old good boy types of books. Basically when it comes to a book, I read whatever I am in the mood for at the time. So my tastes varies from day to day and sometimes even hour to hour.
